That was excellent from Mason Mount.

One touch to control with his left foot, one touch to send it into the bottom corner with his right.

That is his first Premier League goal for Manchester United at Old Trafford. His other two both came at Brentford bizarrely.

A golden opportunity for Arsenal to take the lead. Eze, who doesn't have an Arsenal Premier League goal, has just missed from six yards out. He's basically got the whole goal to aim at, couple of West Ham players on the line, but pick your spot. He blazes it over the bar.

Sunderland won't feel out of this game, they had a nice start and have had a great pattern of play so far.

Clumsy challenge from Diogo Dalot to leave Enzo le Fee on the turf. No card though and the Sunderland man is OK.

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:13 BST

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

A real scramble inside the West Ham box ends with Eberechi Eze flashing a shot just over the bar.

That came after a fairly lengthy delay in play as Konstantinos Mavropanos needed treatment, but he is OK now.

  6. Postpublished at 15:12 BST

    Man Utd 1-0 Sunderland

Sunderland defender Nordi Mukiele overhits his ball into Wilson Isidor and it goes behind for a United goal-kick.

Sunderland just get a little bit too deep, too early and Mount has the freedom on the edge of the box to take the shot.

Some boos for Declan Rice as he goes to take a free kick in front of the West Ham fans.

    Man Utd 1-0 Sunderland

    Steph Houghton
Former Manchester City and England captain on Final Score

Mbeumo puts a great ball in and no one picks up Mount on the edge of the box. He takes a great touch and just picks out the corner.

Sunderland were on top until that moment there.

    Man Utd 1-0 Sunderland

    Leon Osman
Former Everton and England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live at Old Trafford

It is exactly what they need, Amorim needs and Mason Mount needs. It was off the left hand side but that is not where we have seen him play today. He found himself in a lovely position.

GOAL - Man Utd 1-0 Sunderlandpublished at 15:08 BST

    Mason Mount (8 mins)

Manchester United take the lead against Sunderland.

Bryan Mbeumo picks out Mason Mount, who takes the ball down well, lets it bounce and then slams in a powerful shot from 16 yards out.

I think the offside flag would have saved Manchester United then but the concern is how Diogo Dalot failed to anticipate or react to Bertrand Traore's run.

It is pretty basic defending and the kind of individual error that has been hurting Manchester United all season.

Good run from Amad Diallo, against his former loan club, and he picks out Bryan Mbeumo but the United forward's touch is heavy and a chance is gone.

  15. Postpublished at 15:06 BST

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

The wind is really strong and almost bending the corner flag horizontal as Jurrien Timber clears a West Ham cross.

  16. 'Great start for Sunderland'published at 15:06 BST

    Man Utd 0-0 Sunderland

    Steph Houghton
Former Manchester City and England captain on Final Score

Great start for Sunderland, they're exploiting that space in behind Dalot. All Traore had to do was get contact on the ball, it was a great run, he did everything right, but he just failed with that final bit.

  17. 'We deserved not just a point but to win'published at 15:05 BST

    FT: Leeds 1-2 Tottenham

    Leeds United

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke speaking to TNT Sports: "When you lose, the first impression is that you are always disappointed. You don't win any points, which was more than possible today. We were the better side today. In all aspects, we have dominated this game .

"We should have deserved not just a point, but to win this game. I am gutted for us because we didn't win anything out of this game. That's football. One or two mistakes are sometimes punished. But after one or two days, the boys can be proud of their performance.

"We gave the ball away a bit unnecessarily and clumsily. This is punished sometimes in football. In the second half, Gabriel Gudmundsson slipped when trying to clear the ball and it was bit like a pass to the feet of Kudus. Their goalkeeper was man of the match probably. Fantastic, fantastic saves."

On Noah Okafor: "He was one of the many positives. I was pleased that against such a good side like Tottenham, we were able to be the better side. Many many positives, and Noah was one of them."

On Dominic Calvert-Lewin: "He has scored goals since he started playing. He doesn't have to overdo it. He came into two good shooting positions and probably should have scored in the first half. He has to work on like this. If you just concentrate on scoring goals, it will never work. You have to make sure you are good team-mate to work with. You just need a deflected or scruffy goal and the goals will come."

On a first home defeat since September 2024: "I didn't think we would go unbeaten at home through this season. You can accept the defeat if it is against a top side like Tottenham. I am still happy with the performance. If we deliver performances like this, we will be fine in the end."

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:05 BST

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

Really good chance for Arsenal as the ball is worked through to Jurrien Timber inside the box but his powerful low drive is kept out by Alphonse Areola.

  19. Postpublished at 15:05 BST

    Man Utd 0-0 Sunderland

Huge chance for Sunderland is gone. Simon Adingra runs down the left and plays a good low ball into the box. Bertrand Traore makes the right run to lose Diogo Dalot, but then doesn't make proper contact with his shot from about six yards out.

  20. 'Massive game for Amorim'published at 15:03 BST

    Man Utd 0-0 Sunderland

    Will Perry
BBC Final Score reporter at Old Trafford

Make no mistake about it. This is a massive game for Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim and his future at Old Trafford.

Sunderland have an awful record here, one win in their last 31 visits, but would anyone in football, former player, manager, supporter be surprised if they were to pick up three points here this afternoon? I don't think so.
