    FT: Leeds 1-2 Tottenham

    Leeds United

Leeds manager Daniel Farke to BBC Match of the Day: "[We needed] to score more goals from our big chances. We had two big mistakes. Football is sometimes like this. That's the way it goes in the first half. Second half our player slipped and that was an invitation to Kudus.

"We had more than enough chances to win this game. Performance-wise I can just compliment the lads, we won every metric. We are disappointed but the lads should be pleased with their performance.

"Six goals in the last three games for a newly-promoted side is not too bad. But yeah if their goalkeeper is man of the match.

"Sometimes you need just a scruffy goal, a bit like they scored today. Today, against such a good opponent - Tottenham are in the Champions League, they are towards the top of the table - we missed too many chances to get something.

"If you see the whole picture, but it doesn't take the disappointment away. We were the better side against such a top team. It says a lot about my team that we are on the such a good path.

"Nevertheless is it was such a top performance from my lads and we will keep going in this way."

Last season everybody could cut Amorim a bit of slack, but the evidence of this season, scraping home against Burnley, beating 10 man Chelsea, I don't think many people think that down the line he can turn it around. That's the biggest issue. Manchester United fans expect more.

It's about doing the basics well. You can speak about systems all day long but the stats show the truth. If you're not scoring at one end and giving away too many chances at the other then you don't give yourself much hope.

For Nuno going into West Ham it's all about survival. If they survive and stay in the Premier League this year, that is a good season, that is all he has to do.

For the manager of the style he is, making them organised, making them hard to beat, making them hard to break down, that's what he's got to do with this team. And then they have the likes of Bowen and Summerville to play that counter attacking football and nick a goal.

  9. 'Kudus feels like a matchwinner'published at 14:54 BST

    FT: Leeds 1-2 Tottenham

    Joe Hart
Former Tottenham and Man City goalkeeper on TNT Sports

When Kudus is on he feels like a matchwinner. Good players and good strikers look to shoot through legs because it is so, so difficult for the goalkeeper. As soon as he reverses the shot Darlow knows straight away that he is beaten. That was such a big moment in a tight game.

  10. 'Frank is a fantastic communicator'published at 14:54 BST

    FT: Leeds 1-2 Tottenham

    Peter Crouch
Former Tottenham striker on TNT Sports

The thing Frank has changed at Tottenham is the mentality, he's a fantastic communicator. You see in the way that he talks, he puts his arm around people and tells them how good they are the qualities that they have.

We talk a lot about tactics in football but the personal side, being able to talk to people and get the best out of them and give them confidence is important.

  11. 'The character was the foundation'published at 14:54 BST

    FT: Leeds 1-2 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank to BBC Match of the Day: "We needed a win. The last three games were without [one]. That feeling to get over the line, to get three points, was big.

"But also the respect for Leeds and Eland Road. We knew very well the task ahead of us. We overcame that in a very good way. I thought we played overall a really good game. We should have got more out of the dangerous situations. I know they hit the post and the goal, and right at the end there was carnage, but for the rest of the game I thought we defended superbly.

"I think the character was the foundation, to go here and get through the spells where everything was not perfect and to keep the focus. I felt that was Xavi Simons' best game for us.

"I am so happy for Mo [Mohammed Kudus]. Obviously scoring the goal because he wanted it. Not just a goal but a winner in a tight game. I also must mention Mathys [Tel]. He got his first goal of the season. He has had his set-backs so I am so, so happy for him.

"Elland Road is a very difficult ground to go to, I have experienced that many, many times. Their fans were very good, and so were our away fans."

    Alex Howell
BBC Sport football reporter at Emirates Stadium

It's going to be really interesting how this midfield three of Rice, Eze and Odegaard works.

Mikel Arteta has been criticised for his 'conservative' team selections this season and this one definitely isn't.

It feels like the success of this in this game could have a big impact on how he approaches this type of game for the rest of season

  14. 'Arsenal are a powerhouse at the moment'published at 14:53 BST

Arsenal v West Ham (15:00 BST)

    .

West Ham have won on their past two visits to Emirates Stadium but I don't look at Arsenal at the moment and see a team that is going to drop points.

The Hammers grew into the game against Everton in Nuno Espirito Santo's first match in charge but I am expecting the Gunners to be too strong for them.

Arsenal are a powerhouse at the moment and their squad depth is frightening. Defensively they are outstanding - they have conceded only three goals in six league games, the fewest in the Premier League - and this should be comfortable for them.

    Sutton's prediction: 3-0

Senne Lammens is going through his warm-up, currently catching crosses from Altay Bayindir, with third choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton also helping, along with goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital.

This is a huge day for the Belgian.

His name got a good cheer when it was read out over the tannoy just now.

  16. 'Kudus can go past people for fun'published at 14:51 BST

    FT: Leeds 1-2 Tottenham

    Peter Crouch
Former Tottenham striker on TNT Sports

Before Kudus scored we were saying that as a full-back you would hate to play against him. He never seems to lose the ball.

He is so strong that even when he gets knocked to the floor he seems to get up and still have it. He is so dangerous when he is running at people, he can go past them for fun.

  17. 'Keep an eye on set pieces'published at 14:48 BST

Arsenal v West Ham (15:00 BST)

    Chris Wise
BBC Final Score reporter at Emirates Stadium

When West Ham won at the Emirates last season, the main talking points were ‘have Arsenal blown their title chances?’ and ‘Could West Ham have finally turned a corner?’

You get the sense the same narratives will follow if the Hammers are successful here again. But it’s a huge ask.

Keep an eye on set-pieces today. In simple terms, Arsenal have been very effective with them, and West Ham have been very bad at defending them.

  18. 'Good start a good omen'published at 14:47 BST

It's been an unbelievable start for Sunderland, it's a good omen. As a fan the aim is just for them to stay in the league - hopefully it can continue.

  19. 'We fought until the end and deserved to win'published at 14:46 BST

    FT: Leeds 1-2 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham winger Mathys Tel speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I am very happy about my goal. I will say the team, we worked a lot this week. I think I deserved this goal and I am very happy about it.

"I always try to have the opportunity to shoot and I scored today. So I am happy."

On the importance of the win: "The opponents were very, very good today. It was a tough game for us. But we fought until the end and we showed great mentality. That's why I think we deserved to win this game."

  20. 'I'm going to predict Sunderland to win'published at 14:45 BST

Man Utd v Sunderland (15:00 BST)

    .

Sunderland fans should be thanking me, really, because I keep saying they will be beaten and Regis Le Bris' side keep on proving me wrong.

So far I've said the Black Cats will lose five of their six games. The other one was against Burnley in week two, where I went for a draw... and they suffered their only defeat of the season.

I am going to do the dirty on them this week, and I am going to predict they will win - which obviously means they won't - so apologies to all Sunderland supporters, because they must be absolutely furious with me for doing this.

I am not just backing them for the sake of it, clearly. They are extremely well organised and everything about them has been impressive.

Manchester United, on the other hand, are still a mess.

You can blame Ruben Amorim for that as much as you like but when your centre-half is running out and taking a chance on an offside on a long ball, like Harry Maguire did for Brentford's first goal last week, then that is just terrible defending.

That's where I feel for Amorim. Altay Bayindir should also have done better with Brentford's second goal and the goalkeeping situation is perplexing too - they have brought Senne Lammens in, but where is he?

It is just all muddled thinking at United and Amorim is starting to look like a guy who wants to be put out of his misery.

They are just not improving under him, although he might actually get a result here off the back of me saying Sunderland will win.

    Sutton's prediction: 0-1
