Conor McNamara
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live
Conor McNamara's commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live for Harry Maguire's winner:
"This is Barcelona '99 stuff here. A late-late equaliser and still it's not over...
"HARRY MAGUIRE! Oh my word, Harry Maguire's header makes it 7-6 to Manchester United. Oh. My. God.
"They are jumping into the crowd in celebration and it's just like Yorke and Solskjaer all those years ago.
"Two goals in stoppage time to turn it around. The 10-men of Lyon cannot believe what has hit them."

Wow! I’m still buzzing! I have experienced the 5-3 comeback against Tottenham. The comeback across two ties against Juventus in 99 and of course that night in Barcelona. But last night was somehow better and worse. This time we threw away the lead and it was all over and then it wasn’t and in my 44 years of supporting United I have never experienced such a rollercoaster. Hats off to Lyon. A superb contender. When it really, really matters, United can still produce magic. Time to enjoy the moment before we go through it all again in a couple of weeks.
Richard, Brighton
Well what can I say? After driving five hours of driving with a three-hour break? I can finally say the last night showed what it is to be a football fan. The emotions of feeling ecstatic, then deflated, then elation in the space of two hours to celebrate a comeback victory like we did is the reason why being supporter is so great. I've watched United play all over Europe - drawing, winning sometimes losing - but the time and effort is worthwhile after the feelings I had last night. To see all the players work their socks off to create a true European bit of magic, from Harry Maguire to Bruno, to the likes of Mainoo and Mount at the end. Just wow. On to Bilbao - hopefully twice, for a semi and a final!!! GGMU

It was hard to keep up with the drama of the last few moments and - even some nine hours later - it's still raw. So what exactly happened?
Pretty good summary from Jon there, thank you.
Right, for those of you who missed it, we are going to return to the match now to sum up the key moments before wading into the reaction.

In the context of their season, this was a great achievement by Manchester United. However, the tie should've been settled in normal time, and would have been if United hadn't thrown away a two goal lead in the first place. Top clubs know how to take control of games like this, and don't allow their opponents a way back in. That is where United are lacking at the moment. As a group, they're not used to being in the driving seat, hence surrendering their lead, but maybe this result will get the media and fans off their backs, so they can focus on winning a unexpected trophy.

You got that right James, it has certainly been one of those weeks.
We would love to hear from anyone who was inside Old Trafford, watching it on TV or listening to the action on BBC Radio 5 Live.
How did you cope? Did you stick it out until the end or wake up this morning to some shock news?
And what about the neutrals - how would you rank that game and comeback for sheer excitement? One of the all-time best?

It felt like the Masters all over again. If Rory was looking to relax watching sports he picked the wrong team. What a week of sport and it’s only Thursday!
James, Belfast
One young Manchester United fan was caught on camera by broadcaster TNT Sports bursting into tears as Lyon took control of the tie in extra-time.
They returned to him as each United goal went in.
He was still crying at the full-time whistle, but his tears by that point were mixed with a huge grin. It was that kind of a night.
Stick with us for all the reaction from Old Trafford as we bring you up to speed with another big night for Premier League teams in Europe.
Tottenham joined United in the Europa League last four with a gutsy 1-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt that sealed a 2-1 victory on aggregate.
But there was disappointment for Rangers, who went down 2-0 on the night and on aggregate at Athletic Bilbao.
Chelsea, meanwhile, suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Legia Warsaw in the Conference League, but that was enough to clinch a 4-2 aggregate win.

Former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand, ex-Old Trafford trainee Robbie Savage and commentator Darren Fletcher, did their best to describe the indescribable on TNT Sports as the drama unfolded.
"I've never seen anything like that as a spectator," said former United defender Ferdinand.
"It was an amazing thing. We saw so many fans leaving when it was 4-2 and you thought that was over.
"I said on commentary it would take more than a miracle to get back into it and now I'm actually a believer because that was outrageous.
"No other sport I know does this. They can't take you as high as a kite, as low as a snake's belly. I've never seen anything like this."
Fletcher added: "Manchester United are heading to the semi-finals on one of the most remarkable nights this stadium has ever seen in European competition."
While Savage concluded that "this night will be talked about for years to come".

Manchester United were facing a humiliating exit in their Europa League quarter-final as 10-man Lyon opened a 4-2 lead in extra-time at Old Trafford.
The clock ticked past 114 minutes when the fightback began, as captain Bruno Fernandes stroked home a penalty to reduce the arrears.
Manager Ruben Amorim had already thrown out the play-book by that point, ending the tie with a makeshift strikeforce of holding midfielder Kobbie Mainoo and centre-back Harry Maguire.
But fans who had started to leave the stadium were tempted back by the penalty celebrations and out of the depths came the most remarkable revival as Mainoo curled home an instinctive equaliser in stoppage time.
Then, a minute later, Maguire jostled free of his marker to head the winner back across goal for a 5-4 victory on the night, 7-6 on aggregate.
