Summary

  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time

    Hull City 1-0 Portsmouth

Joao Pedro's (not that one) first goal for Hull City has them a goal up on the bottom side.

Some hope for Pompey, eight of the Tigers' past 13 home games have ended level.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Coventry

Difficult to see how Middlesbrough get anything out of this one.

Coventry had already had two goals disallowed for offside before Hayden Hackney collected a second yellow card and was sent-off by referee Thomas Bramall.

Haji Wright then had a shot blocked before the visitors finally got themselves in front with Bobby Thomas heading in a Josh Eccles cross.

The dismissal of Hackney forced Boro' into a change with Johnny Howson replacing Finn Azaz and Howson's come closest for the home side but his shot was blocked.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time

    Cardiff 0-0 Norwich

It took a while but Norwich got on top as the half wore on in South Wales.

Borja Sainz has forced Jak Alnwick into an excellent save while Shane Duffy has sent two headers wide of goal.

Cardiff actually started the brighter with Chris Willock's early shot which went wide the closest they've come to breaking the deadlock.

  4. Postpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time

    Sheff Wed 1-1 Watford

Another smart save from Daniel Bachmann to keep the scores level.

This time the Austrian is bravely off his line to smother Josh Windass' effort.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time

    QPR 0-0 Sunderland

QPR are doing well against Sunderland so far, even leading the shots statistic against the biggest attackers in the league, but they do have to use an early substitution.

Harrison Ashby needs to come off so Hevertton Santos is on to see out the half.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time

    Leeds 3-0 Plymouth

Leeds cruising back up to second, Plymouth wishing they'd stayed at home.

Goals from Dan James, Joel Piroe and Brenden Aaronsen have the promotion chasers in full control.

Wayne Rooney's men did come from three goals down to draw with Preston last week.

Could they do it again today? Well, given they haven't had a shot of any kind yet I'm going to stick my neck on the line and say no.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time

    Preston 0-1 Bristol City

Preston's Ali McCann is the first name in the naughty book for a pull back on Jason Knight.

Piroe tries to stab it towards goal himself and Brenden Aaronson is there to mop it up for three.

The possession, the dominance and it could be more because Plymouth do look poor.

  12. Postpublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry

Coventry close to getting themselves ahead and it's Haji Wright again.

The five goal striker gets a shot away but George Edmundson throws himself in the way to block it.

Boro' need the half-time whistle to come.

  13. goal

GOAL: Leeds 3-0 Plymouthpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time

    Brenden Aaronsen (39 mins)

    My word.

USA international Brenden Aaronson gets in on the act.

Dan James crosses in for fellow goalscorer Joel Piroe but his flick doesn't quite come off, no matter, Aaronsen is there to hammer it home.

Plymouth's goal difference could take a real battering here.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time

    Preston 0-1 Bristol City

The injury woes continue for Bristol City.

Joe Williams requires treatment on the pitch. He tries to play on but can't and needs to be switched out with Marcus McGuane.

  16. goal

GOAL: Sheff Wed 1-1 Watfordpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    Michael Smith (33 mins)

The in-form striker does it again for Wednesday!

Marvin Johnson hits a powerful cross into the area and Michael Smith, who scored an absolute beauty at Portsmouth last week, scores a slightly less spectacular one today.

  17. 'it might be a cricket score'published at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time

    Leeds 2-0 Plymouth

    Neil Redfearn
Former Leeds manager on BBC Radio Leeds

Brilliant round the box with the second phase movements, and then great composure when it drops to Piroe.

Another great finish, it looks like this might be a cricket score.

    Leeds 1-0 Plymouth

    Adam Pope

He's leaning back - what he manages to get on it leaning back, he gets the accuracy and the power on it, amazing finish from James.

A really lovely, smart finish into the top corner.

  20. Postpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Coventry

Ten man Middlesbrugh have reacted well to the dismissal of Hayden Hackney and Johnny Howson smashes in a shot and Bobby Thomas does well to block it.

No goals but there's plenty going on.
