    West Brom 0-0 Swansea

A bright start for the Baggies at The Hawthorns.

First it was Josh Maja heading into the goalkeeper's arms, before Jayson Molumby saw his effort saved in the bottom corner.

10 matches to come in League One including Stockport and Charlton who have both won their opening three fixtures.

Stockport, promoted from League Two last season, visit Mansfield while the Addicks travel to Reading.

Big-spending Birmingham City, who paid a League One record fee of more than £10m to bring Jay Stansfield to St Andrew's on Friday, host Wigan.

Stansfield, who only signed late last night, is not in the squad.

There's a big game at the bottom of the table as Shrewsbury host Leyton Orient. Both sides are without a point.

We've got a bevvy of games between teams at opposite ends of the League Two table this afternoon.

Bradford City versus Grimsby Town could be the pick of the bunch. The Bantams could go joint top with a win over the 18th placed Mariners.

AFC Wimbledon (8th) face a stiff test when they welcome undefeated Fleetwood (11th) to Plough Lane.

Seventh-placed Bromley will be looking to take advantage of a winless Crewe (23rd), who have yet to score a goal in league play this season.

It's a similar story for sixth placed Newport who welcome bottom of the table Morecambe to Rodney Parade - they'll be eyeing up three points against a struggling side.

Elsewhere, Walsall face Cheltenham, Swindon host Notts County, Harrogate entertain Barrow, Carlisle host Tranmere and Accrington welcome Colchester.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Derby host unbeaten Bristol City.

The Rams are looking to bounce back from their midweek Carabao Cup loss on penalties to League Two Barrow by making it back-to-back home league wins to start the season.

Oxford United have suffered two league losses in a row following their opening day win over Norwich.

They host a Preston side who thumped Harrogate 5-0 in the EFL Cup on Tuesday and also won their last league game against Luton.

West Brom have made a fine start to the campaign under Carlos Corberan, winning two and drawing one game.

Today they face Swansea at The Hawthorns and could find themselves top of the early-season table with victory.

Stoke boss Steven Schumacher makes a return to Home Park this afternoon, eight months after leaving the Pilgrims to take over in the Potteries.

Both these sides are trending in the right direction after a bit of a wobble early doors.

Plymouth, who are searching for their first win of the league campaign under Wayne Rooney, have nabbed two draws from their last two games.

Whilst Stoke might have lost their last two league matches, they'll be pretty pumped after demolishing Middlesbrough 5-0 away from home in the EFL Cup midweek - a neat little confidence boost for the Potters.

Worth noting though, that the Pilgrims haven't lost at home since 1 April - not an easy place to play for visiting sides.

Millwall have a chance to get their first win of the Championship season today when they welcome Sheffield Wednesday to The Den.

The 23rd-placed Lions have been unlucky in defeat so far this season and have shown their ability to score goals.

Meanwhile, the travelling Owls (17th) - who thumped League Two Grimsby Town in the EFL Cup midweek - have lost their last two league fixtures and failed to score on both occasions.

  14. League One and Two updatepublished at 14:33 British Summer Time 31 August

What a start to Saturday in the third and fourth tiers!

In League One, there was a Jake Beesley equaliser for Blackpool as they got a 2-2 draw Wycombe, all while there was another card given against Huddersfield.

You guessed it, it was a red. This time to goalkeeping coach Andy Quy. Rotherham took advantage of the heightened atmosphere as Mallik Wilks scored the winning goal in their 2-1 victory.

Over in League Two, Port Vale got themselves a penalty after striker Jayden Stockley was pulled down in the box. Ethan Chislett buried it but the Valiants couldn't find an equaliser as Doncaster took the win 3-2.

At Gillingham - another red card! Chey Dunkley was awarded his second yellow card but the Gills managed to defend their 1-0 lead to beat Chesterfield.

    Burnley 1-1 Blackburn

Makhtar Gueye sent offImage source, Rex Features

A draw, maybe. But Blackburn have ground out a point having gone down to 10 men.

Lyle Foster's header had given Burnley the lead but a goal of the season candidate from Blackburn's Andi Weimann levelled up the east Lancashire derby.

Arguably Tyrhys Dolan should have been awarded what would have turned out to be a Blackburn winner were it not chalked off for offside.

But Rovers were made to work for their point after Makhtar Gueye's poor second booking on 57 minutes.

  16. Postpublished at 14:31 British Summer Time 31 August

    Burnley 1-1 Blackburn

Surely this will be the last chance of the game.

Burnley win a free-kick just outside the box for a shirt pull. But before that can be taken, Lyle Foster rolls over on the floor following a coming together in the box between the two sides.

Josh Brownhill is less than impressed and picks him up so they can take the free-kick, which is in a very dangerous area.

But it's punted over the top of the bar by Brownhill and the final whistle is blown.

  17. CLOSE!published at 14:28 British Summer Time 31 August

    Burnley 1-1 Blackburn

So so close a dramatic late Blackburn winner!

Burnley fail to clear their lines and CJ Egan-Riley scythes down Yuki Ohashi for which he receives a yellow card.

Tyrhys Dolan races onto the loose ball that follows and tees up Lewis Travis who fires high and wide.

  18. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:27 British Summer Time 31 August

    Coventry 0-1 Norwich

Norwich City have their first win of the Championship season!

Coventry might feel a touch unlucky as the moment that sealed it was a heavy deflection but the Canaries won't care as they win their first three points of the campaign.

  19. Postpublished at 14:27 British Summer Time 31 August

    Burnley 1-1 Blackburn

Manuel Benson stands over a free-kick in a similar sort of area to the last time he scored for Burnley against Blackburn in an east Lancashire derby.

There's a delay as Lewis Travis goes to ground in the run-up to it being taken but, after a bit of a wait, it's taken and Benson buries his effort well over the crossbar.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 31 August

    Coventry 0-1 Norwich

Norwich's Anis Ben Slimane goes into the book, barging into a Coventry player as the home side were starting a counter attack.

    No complaints there.
