    A beautiful iron shot punched through the wind finishes seven feet from the hole for birdie.

    Aberg's shot out of the bunker catches a slope and trundles down towards the front of the green.

    We could well have a two-shot swing here...

    Scotland's Connor Syme falls just short in his quest for an Open spot after a 67 to end the tournament on 12 under.

    "I tried, but unfortunately it looks like I'll be just one [shot] short of making next week," he says.

    "I played really well, probably just didn't hit it close enough coming in. More good signs this week for sure.

    "It's another positive result in a really strong tournament and has set me up well for the rest of the season."

    It’s an odd vantage point at the 10th green. We can’t see the players, but we have just seen a ball fly across the front of the green and down another hill.

    As Aberg emerged, it becomes clear it must have been Bob’s shot that trundled off the putting surface. A groan goes up.
