  1. This time last yearpublished at 13:12 British Summer Time 14 July

The final round last year produced one of the most memorable finishes to a Scottish Open in recent years, but also a moment of heartbreak for Bob MacIntyre.

He shot a phenomenal 64 - although he went one better yesterday - in brutal conditions and put himself in pole position, before an astonishing fightback from Rory McIlroy.

Two magnificent birdies - including a shot which McIlroy called his "best of the year" - on the final two holes saw the Northern Irishman win by a shot.

Beat by the best last year, but could Bob do the business this time round?

  2. Conditions for the final roundpublished at 13:08 British Summer Time 14 July

Yesterday was wet and cold, but with very little wind.

Today looks to be similar, if a little warmer and perhaps a bit drier.

The majority of the rain is expected to hit between 15:00-17:00, with wind not expected to gust much higher than 8mph.

Calm conditions then, and perhaps even lower scores. Can Bob MacIntyre shoot 63 or less once more?

  4. Hellopublished at 13:00 British Summer Time 14 July

Good afternoon, and welcome to our coverage of the final round of the 2024 Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club in East Lothian.

Ludvig Aberg leads the field by two shots after another excellent round of golf yesterday, but is being hunted by a star-studded field.

Home favourite Bob MacIntyre is in the final pairing with Aberg, and will want to go one better than last year, when he finished second to Rory McIlroy.

Aberg and MacIntyre tee off at 15:40, but we've got plenty to keep us going until then...
