  1. Scheffler makes parpublished at 20:30 British Summer Time 12 April

    Scheffler -6,Hatton -4 (6)

Brilliant recovery from Scottie Scheffler at the sixth as he bumps his chip back towards the hole and gets it inside three feet.

Take your par and get out of there Scottie.

A well dug out par for Tyrrell Hatton too after being to the left side of the sixth green.

So this is the clip we were waiting for.

A true Masters moment for Rory McIlroy.

    McCarty -5 Lowry -6 (5)

Shane Lowry bangs in an iron shot to 17 feet on the fifth but is just inches away from making another birdie - this time having to settle for par and one he's really annoyed about.

  4. Up, down, shake it all aboutpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 12 April

    Im -6, Day -6 (5)

Folk are moving quickly on Moving Day, packing up the birdies and loading them onto their cards.

Playing partners Jason Day and Sungjae Im have a little further to travel than some, but are pitching up in the same neighbourhood as the leaders.

Day has birdied the second and fifth, with Im following an eagle on two with a birdie on the seventh.

They're alongside Scheffler, Lowry and Conners on six under.

Viktor Hovland, by the way, has dropped back after back-to-back birdies.

  5. 'So many opportunities'published at 20:24 British Summer Time 12 April

    McIlroy -10, Connors -6 (4)

McIlroy’s balance is so magnificent. For someone who creates such a huge amount of ball speed, if he keeps driving like this, he’s going to leave himself so many opportunities.

His short irons have improved so much over the past 18 months and he just looks like he’s enjoying himself.

  6. Bogey for Brysonpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 12 April

    Rose -8, DeChambeau -8 (3)

A testament to the genuis of Augusta National right here - as big-hitting Bryson DeChambeau makes a bogey on a 350-yard par four, thanks to some clumsy wedge shots.

Justin Rose is only one better as he again misses a makeable birdie putt from 12 feet. Nothing too serious as there's a long way to go but with Rory McIlroy on fire and things happening everywhere, Rose will just want to make a birdie soon.

  7. Postpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 12 April

    Scheffler -6, Hatton -4 (5)

That's an odd-looking tee shot from Scottie Scheffler at the sixth, flighted well over the green.

Not the set-and-forget iron play we've come to expect from the top player in the world.

  8. Postpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 12 April

    McIlroy -10, Conners -6 (4)

"Sit! Sit!" Rory McIlroy is yelling after his ball at the fifth but I'm not entirely sure why.

It's another picture perfect tee shot for the world number two and once again we'll have an opportunity to see his approach skills.

But this is playing as the hardest hole this week - and that green is fiendish.

  9. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 12 April

    Rose -8, DeChambeau -9 (2)

Bryson DeChambeau gets a lucky break as his wild pull off the third tee goes into the patrons which prevents the ball from going even further wide.

His punch towards the green comes up short though and falls back down that steep bank guarding this brilliant short par four.

  10. Par for McIlroy at fourpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 12 April

    McIlroy -10, Conners -6 (4)

The birdie train has pulled into a station for Rory McIlroy but that's a solid putt from off the side of the green at the par-three fourth.

He'll knock in for par on one of the trickiest holes around here.

    I almost feel shortchanged!

There's a bogey in there for Corey Conners too as his round hits a hitch.

  11. Bogey for Lowrypublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 12 April

    McCarty -5 Lowry -6 (4)

The hand comes off the club by Shane Lowry after he fluffed his tee shot on the par-three fourth, it's a high weak slice that comes up well short, and leaves him in an awful position.

From there he can only chip to 13 feet and he can't make the par save so drops back to six under.

  12. Scheffler saves parpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 12 April

    Scheffler -6, Hatton -4 (5)

Nerveless from Scottie Scheffler as he tidies up for par.

Important to stay in touch given the fireworks above him on the leaderboard.

  13. Biridie-birdie start for Brysonpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 12 April

    Rose -8, DeChambeau -9 (2)

Justin Rose puts his hand over his mouth as he misses a decent birdie opportunity, but Bryson DeChambeau doesn't make the same mistake as he completes a fine two putt from miles away to pick up his birdie.

Bryson will wonder what on earth's happening as he started the day one off the lead, has started birdie-birdie and is still one behind!

  14. Postpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 12 April

    Scheffler -6, Hatton -4 (4)

Uncharacteristically sloppy from Scottie Scheffler at the tricky fifth hole, knocking his approach too far and into the back bunker.

He is good from this sort of range and splashes out safely.

Six feet to save par though.

  15. 'Let it flow'published at 20:09 British Summer Time 12 April

    McIlroy -10, Connors -7 (3)

    Trish Johnson
Eight-time member of the Team Europe Solheim Cup team on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

McIlroy is trying not to get too excited because inside he will be absolutely buzzing. But he can’t let those emotions out this early.

When he is like this, this is when he goes on a roll.

    Let it flow.

  16. Postpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 12 April

    McIlroy -10, Conners -7 (3)

Rory McIlroy is four under for his first three holes.

He's nine under for the past 12 holes he has played if you look at yesterday's second nine.

    This is getting ridiculous.

  17. What a start!published at 20:07 British Summer Time 12 April

    McIlroy -10, Conners -7 (3)

    He's got another one!

What a start for Rory McIlroy!

  18. Postpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 12 April

    Rose -8, DeChambeau -8 (1)

As we expected beforehand, Justin Rose lays up and hits two three woods to just short of the greenside bunker where Shane Lowry made birdie from earlier, but Bryson DeChambeau has boomed a drive and then found the green with a raking draw of a long iron from 244 yards away.

He's facing a long enough putt though.

  19. 'Most perfect conditions'published at 20:04 British Summer Time 12 April

    McIlroy -9, Connors -7 (2)

    Trish Johnson
Eight-time member of the Team Europe Solheim Cup team on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

I think they all know it’s the most perfect conditions.

When you look at the calibre of player at the top of the leaderboard, if you don’t shoot probably 66, you’re going to be letting people get away.

  20. Postpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 12 April

    McIlroy -9, Conners -7 (2)

Fancy another birdie for Rory McIlroy?

He's given himself another excellent chance at the third by dinking a pitch to seven feet.

Clubs doing exactly what he wants at the moment.
