    The gallery is sizeable around the 13th green - and fans are on the feet as Darcey Harry makes birdie on the par five.

    Having been through the back in two, Harry threatens the hole with her chip before making no mistake with a short putt to move back to four under - into a tie for fourth position.

    Georgia Hall has a decent look at birdie but has to settle for a par.

    With the wind set to pick up later on the course later on today this is looking like a pretty handy round by Miyu Yamashita, who makes a at the 14th to stay at 10 under.

    Rio Takeda remains three shots behind but a double bogey for Patty Tavatanakit sees her lose ground.

    American Angel Yin is charging now, she moves to three under with her third birdie in four holes, by sinking one in on the par-five ninth.

    World number one Nelly Korda's wait for a birdie on day two goes on. She can only par.

    Lottie Woad is on the march!

    She sticks her approach on the 10th to around three or four feet, right in front of a bank of spectators who let Woad know how good a shot it was.

    She takes her time over it to make sure of the birdie - her third in the past five holes - and moves to three under in a tie for sixth.

    Lottie Woad executes a superb iron shot on the par-four 10th to give herself a chance of a birdie. The ball spins back from behind the pin and finishes three feet from the hole.

    Miyu Yamashita is looking a million dollars here.

    Her sixth birdie today at the 13th hole takes her to 10 under and three shots clear of Japanese compatriot Rio Takeda, who is in the same group and makes a birdie of her own.

    Takeda is three shots behind in second.

    We mentioned Casandra Alexandra's progress a little earlier (10:27 BST) - she has an incredible back story...

    She tore her anterior cruciate ligament in April but avoided surgery and was back playing, external within a few weeks.

    Last year, Alexander finished in a tie for seventh spot in the Women's Open at St Andrews.

    The South African has bogeyed the 16th hole but she's still four under for the day and three under for the tournament.

    Lottie Woad unfortunately finds a deep greenside bunker on the par-five ninth hole.

    It’s well out and two putts means she makes the turn at two under for the day and the championship.

    Lottie Woad, who played a nice bunker shot to get on the green, crouches low to precisely replace her ball, about 10 feet away from the hole.

    She comes up a couple of feet short with a birdie putt but taps in for par. Woad heads into the back nine two under.

    Leader Miyu Yamashita isn't the only player at five under par for their round today.

    South African Casandra Alexander, who was out in the first group this morning starting at 06:30 BST, has carded six birdies and a bogey to rise into a tie for fourth on the leaderboard.

    Alexander is playing the 16th now and on the verge of completing one of the best rounds of the tournament so far.

    It’s a very disappointing start to the back nine for Wales' Darcey Harry as she makes double bogey on 10 to drop back to two under.

    She is forced to chip out off the rough after a wayward tee shot, then sees her third shot roll off the green.

    A good chip looks set to limit the damage, but Harry then misses a short putt and ends up with a six.

    There is a bogey for England's 2018 Women's Open champion Georgia Hall, who misses from six feet after finding the greenside bunker.

    England's Mimi Rhodes has birdied the fourth hole to get to four under par and move into a tie for fourth.

    Four seems to be a lucky number there!

    Rhodes, 23, and Lottie Woad, 21, have both been on the winner's step on multiple occasions this year - the future of English golf looks bright.

    It’s a dart from defending champion Lydia Ko to the par-three eighth hole, whose tee shot finishes three feet from the pin.

    The putt horseshoes around the hole before finally dropping for her first birdie of the day which takes her to level par.

    Lottie Woad has a good birdie chance too and sinks it to a pop of noise from the crowd - she’s now at two under.
