No hat-trick for Lower Beeding-based father and son trainer/jockey team Gary and Jamie Moore as 20-1 shot Gallic Destiny edges out favourite Gioia Di Vita to win the third race at Fontwell, over 2 miles and 3 furlongs.
The Moores had claimed the opening two races of the afternoon in the Sussex countryside by nine and eight lengths respectively but their entry Royal Battalion was fourth in this one.

But, in his interview with BBC Radio 5 live, he says: "I still haven't coped. I hardly try and watch games because I still wish I was playing.
"I cannot handle watching players getting lots of money and not putting 100% in. The fans paid for my house, my car, my holidays - but I've seen players score a goal, even for England, and just walk back.
"There are young kids there seeing that and thinking it means nothing to score goals. I don't like that."

Newcastle racecourse's controversial plans to scrap its flat-racing turf track and replace it with a synthetic, 'all-weather' surface have been approved by the British Horseracing Authority.
The course will be closed down for the rest of the year when the project, part of an £11 million development, starts in September, with the first 'all-weather' races due in the Spring. The jumps track is unaffected long-term.
The Telegraph are reporting, external that Newcastle manager John Carver has been relieved of his duties and will not be permitted to return to his previous role as assistant after winning only three games in his five months in charge.
First-team coach Steve Stone has suffered the same fate ahead of the expected appointment of Steve McClaren as manager.
Olympic badminton silver medallist Gail Emms hopes the National Badminton League can grow in future after a successful debut season.

In the House of Commons on Tuesday, Labour MP Ruth Cadbury raised concerns that fans attending Rugby World Cup matches at Twickenham could be troubled by the smell of the adjacent Mogden sewage works.
