"We'll certainly see much more from him in the future and he'll be even faster than he is now in Tokyo."

"It's great to see the juniors coming through - they're learning from the older ones and at the end of the day it's just racing. It' just great to see the racers coming through, hopefully not any breaststrokers though.

"I've still got a job to do in the relay tomorrow, so my emotional level has to come down now."

Women's 400m individual medley European bronze medallist Hannah Miley speaking on BBC TV: "I've noticed Adam Peaty's start has improved a lot and his stroke-rate, too. As he's picked up the speed he's been able to hold onto the water, which is really how he's been able to go so fast.

"You have to keep yourself as streamline as possible, so that's how he's able to keep going, because his technique is pretty perfect. But there is still room for improvement in his turn, which makes it all even more exciting."

The pressure has really been on Freya Anderson - being in the last leg - and she's been unbelievably mature.

She doesn't have a lot of power at the moment - because she's still growing into her body - but once that comes she'll be a force to be reckoned with.
