  1. touchdown

Texans Touchdownpublished at 19:01 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Houston Texans 14-7 Cleveland Browns

Houston more than holding their own here and now take the lead thanks to QB Tyrod Taylor tiptoeing down the sideline for a 15-yard rushing TD.

Taylor has a point to prove this season and is certainly going a long way to proving it, especially here as Houston arrived as about 12-point underdogs for this game.

  2. Eagles field goal attempt blockedpublished at 19:01 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

San Francisco 49ers 0-3 Philadelphia Eagles

After making 54 yards from 10 plays on the drive, the Eagles go for the sticks.

But Jake Elliott's effort is blocked. The 49ers needed that.

  4. Get Involved - Wilson's baptism of fire with Jetspublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

Andrew Priestley: Zach Wilson was sacked 6 (six) times last week and was hit countless times more. This week he’s thrown 2 interceptions from 2 pass attempts. A baptism of fire for the rookie QB.

  5. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 18:51 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Houston Texans 7-7 Cleveland Browns

It's a tough day for quarterbacks. This time Baker Mayfield is intercepted and as he tries to make amends by going for the tackle, he comes off second best and jogs off the field favouring his shoulder pretty badly.

We all love to see the star QB making a tackle but probably best they stay out of that part of the game!

  7. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 18:48 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Cincinnati Bengals 0-7 Chicago Bears

Andy Dalton has been forced out of the game after pulling up at the end of a run without making any contact with anyone.

That's rough for Dalton, who was playing well so far, but it does bring Justin Fields onto the field, as many home fans had wanted. Not under these circumstances though.

  8. Postpublished at 18:47 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

San Francisco 49ers 0-3 Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles think they've got the opening touchdown in Philly as Jalen Hurts finds Quez Watkins deep on the right... but the play's under review, looks like the receiver stepped out of bounds before he made the catch.

And out comes the yellow hanky. It goes down as an incomplete pass and the Eagles remain in possession at the end of the first quarter.

The 49ers are yet to make a first down.

  9. Interceptions!published at 18:46 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

Los Angeles Rams 7-3 Indianapolis Colts

Interceptions on back-to-back drives here as first the Rams then the Colts turn the ball over.

LA have the ball back inside their own 20.

  10. touchdown

Jets Touchdownpublished at 18:43 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

New England Patriots 10-0 New York Jets

Oh boy, the Patriots have a good run going against the Jets and as James White goes in for a seven-yard touchdown it looks like it could be another long season for Gang Green.

  11. Garoppolo strugglingpublished at 18:39 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

San Francisco 49ers 0-3 Philadelphia Eagles

Oh, Jimmy G breathes a sigh of relief there.

He may have been under duress but the 49ers quarterback throws another errant throw deep, which is almost intercepted. And despite finding JaMycal Hasty on the next play, he's stopped a yard short of earning a first down.

The 49ers have gone three-and-out on their first three possessions.

  12. field goal

Raiders field goalpublished at 18:36 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

Las Vegas Raiders 3-0 Pittsburgh Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger heaves a hopeful ball down the left sideline under pressure, but instead of a Steelers receiver it goes into the hands of a Raiders defensive back.

Las Vegas take the lead courtesy of Daniel Carlson's 46-yard kick.

  13. ouch!

    Ouch!published at 18:33 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Buffalo Bills 14-0 Miami Dolphins

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa took a huge hit in Miami as he tried to get a pass away, and he looks badly shaken up as he's taken off the field and into the locker rooms.

Jacoby Brissett takes over at QB.

  15. That's ugly!published at 18:31 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

New England Patriots 3-0 New York Jets

Jets rookie Zach Wilson has thrown two passes so far and TWO interceptions!

That's an impressive level of consistency but not exactly what you want when you're playing your first home game in the NFL - in front of a New York crowd of all places!

Quick stat - Bill Belichick is 9-1 against rookie QBs..

Just the field goal to speak of so far though.

  16. touchdown

Bills Touchdownpublished at 18:28 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Buffalo Bills 14-0 Miami Dolphins

Josh Allen doing Josh Allen type things in extending the play for what seems like hours before hitting Stefon Diggs for another TD.

You just can't cover Diggs for that long.

  17. touchdown

Broncos Touchdownpublished at 18:25 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Houston Texans 7-7 Cleveland Browns

Phillip Lindsay has got serious wheels but the running back showed he's got good hands too by taking a Tyrod Taylor pass 22 yards for Houston's levelling TD.

  18. touchdown

Rams Touchdownpublished at 18:23 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

Los Angeles Rams 7-0 Indianapolis Colts

Matt Stafford is proving to be a hit in LA already. The Rams are in Indianapolis this week and Cooper Kupp is in the end zone after collecting a 16-yard pass from his new QB.

  19. touchdown

Jaguars Touchdownpublished at 18:21 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Denver Broncos 0-7 Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence wastes little time in making his mark in his first home game as he lobs a beautiful throw into the left side of the end zone for a galloping Marvin Jones to haul it in.

Former Bengals and Lions wideout Jones was a nice pick-up in the off-season as an experienced old head to work with Lawrence.

    Worked very nicely there.

  20. 49ers again go three-and-outpublished at 18:19 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

San Francisco 49ers 0-0 Philadelphia Eagles

Jimmy Garoppolo has a wide open receiver but his throw's too high. The 49ers again go three-and-out.
