Burrow's such a good runner, he doesn't look like it most of the time, but when he takes off he's definitely got some gas, and he's also got a shifty move or two as well.

And tonight he's got the advantage over a hobbling Mahomes.

Patrick Mahomes can't convert on third down again as he misses Marquez Valdes-Scantling, with a hint of his ankle just bothering him a bit there as he didn't get any push off it and the ball kind of faded away off his hand.

Taylor will be even more mad after they sack Mahomes but that is ruled out thanks to a flag on Eli Apple for holding, which also gives KC a fresh set of downs.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor is furious as the referees say they're replaying a third down when he thought they'd got Mahomes off the field.

Nobody really knew what was going on there, but Mahomes has another chance.

The great plays just keep on coming! Cincy go for it on fourth down and it's a sublime pass from Burrow and if anything an even better leaping catch by Ja'Marr Chase, who was being double teamed, to convert a 35-yard gain and sent Cincy up right on the goal line.

Former NFL safety Jason Bell on Sky Sports: "His whole base, the way he looked, he looked off. Maybe he was trying to make an arm throw and without his base he loses control of the ball."

That's an eventful few minutes! Looking at that Mahomes fumble doesn't make it any easier to comprehend how that happened.

Cincy are now facing a fourth down when we return though, will they go for it?

What have we seen here! The ball turns into a bar of soap for Mahomes who fumbles it as he tries to make a quick throw, and he also can't get on top of the bobbling pigskin on the floor either, as Sam Hubbard slides in to dive on the ball for Cincinnati.

That's not something you see from Mahomes too often, and now from looking to go two scores up, the Chiefs are trying to stop Burrow going down to level this up again!

Another big catch from Marquez Valdes-Scantling to convert on third down, which is brought back a bit for a taunting flag on the Chiefs - head coaches hate those being given away!

Big run back by the Chiefs is chalked off by a flag, which hasn't gone down well at Arrowhead who thought they'd be seeing Mahomes given a short field, but instead he's backed up.

The spot did look a bit short at first glance as Valdes-Scantling extended the ball close to the first down marker, and after Andy Reid challenges then the right decision is made and they give KC the first down.

That's the good news for the Chiefs - the bad news is that they're not out of challenges for the rest of this game.

Valdes-Scantling takes a flat pass and turns it into a 25-yard scamper down the right sideline thanks to a couple of nice blocks.

Cincinnati Bengals 13-13 Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes converts a third down, finally, but it comes at a cost as he pulls up limping after rolling left and having to throw across his body and putting all his weight on that ankle.

Meanwhile, Mecole Hardman takes the catch but is drilled as he does so and he stays down injured. It's a but concerning for the Chiefs.

Come on, you can't be surprised can you? It was another slow start by the Bengals but Joe Burrow is just so good, they're never out of a contest and now it's all up for grabs.

Can the Chiefs stop this momentum swing? Will Mahomes' ankle last out? Or will the Bengals come back to run away with it?
