Huge third down conversion from Joe Burrow, but this time with his legs and not his arm as the Chiefs leave a big gap down the middle and Burrow immediately takes off and runs it right up the gut to move the chains.

  2. Kick-offpublished at 01:25 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 6-13 Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs get the ball from the second-half kick-off but not for long as it's a quick three-and-out and they have to kick it right back to the Bengals, who moved the ball with ease on that final drive of the first-half.

  3. 'I like the game plan'published at 01:23 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 6-13 Kansas City Chiefs

Former NFL safety Jason Bell on Sky Sports: "I like the game plan, I like what Andy Reid has got going on. They are getting the ball out early and testing every area of the field."

It's advantage Chiefs at half-time, but it's just a touchdown lead and they led 21-10 in this game last year before Joe Burrow came storming back.

    Will lightning strike twice?

  6. field goal

Field goal - Bengalspublished at 01:07 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 6-13 Kansas City Chiefs

Two shots at the end zone come to nothing, and with time running out they have to turn to Evan McPherson to kick over a 23-yard field goal to cut the gap down to just seven.

  7. Tee'd uppublished at 01:05 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-13 Kansas City Chiefs

It's the Tee Higgins show on this drive as another big catch from No.85 of the Bengals puts them on the five-yard line in the dying seconds of the half.

  8. Burrow on the movepublished at 01:00 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-13 Kansas City Chiefs

That penalty flag seems to have given the Bengals a huge boost as they're moving the ball quickly down field now and into Chiefs territory inside the final minute.

Cincinnati looking to score points here just before the break.

  9. Huge flag!published at 00:58 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-13 Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs look to have an interception, but a flash of yellow flutters down onto the field and it's a flag against Bryan Cook who got there just a beat too early on the tackle and that takes all the pressure off the Bengals.

Huge call, probably the right one, just!

  10. Chiefs empty handedpublished at 00:53 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-13 Kansas City Chiefs

KC have to punt after Mahomes can't hit his target, but punter Tommy Townsend sticks a nice kick in that goes out of bounds and the Cincy four, so they'll be backed right up when they come back on the field.

  11. Burrow picked off!published at 00:48 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-13 Kansas City Chiefs

Joe Burrow throws an interception on third down as he's under pressure again, lobbing a ball up at Tee Higgins but Jaylen Watson shows a nice leap to snatch it from right in front of him.

That could be a huge turnover with just a couple minutes left in the half if the Chiefs can get some points from it - as they receive the second-half kick-off too.

  12. 'That is why these two are one of the best duos'published at 00:44 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-13 Kansas City Chiefs

Former NFL quarterback Tony Romo on CBS: "This is all Kelce and Mahomes, it is not scripted at all. He rolls to his right and he could throw to the flat area, but nope! He decides to make some magic. That is why these two are one of the best duos."

  13. touchdown

Touchdown - Chiefspublished at 00:41 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-13 Kansas City Chiefs

Andy Reid goes for it on fourth-and-one, so naturally Patrick Mahomes freestyles it a bit in the backfield before firing it to Travis Kelce for the touchdown, who else would it be?

Mahomes had a couple of shorter options to just convert the fourth down and move the chains, but after a little dancing about outside the pocket, Mahomes saw his BFF getting free, as he always seems to do, and then fires a laser right at him.

We've seen that so many times before - but it's so hard to stop.

  14. Hyphens helping the Chiefspublished at 00:38 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-6 Kansas City Chiefs

JuJu Smith-Schuster makes a nice first down catch but his fellow double-barrelled receiver Maquez Valdes-Scantling goes one better with a first down catch followed by a big 29-yard gain down the middle to get the Chiefs into the red zone.

  15. 'Burrow has to make offensive line right'published at 00:35 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-6 Kansas City Chiefs

Former NFL safety Jason Bell on Sky Sports: "Joe isn't worried about the pressure he knows it is coming. He has to make his offensive line right, and he does that by getting the ball out quick."

  16. 'It is so well defended'published at 00:32 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-6 Kansas City Chiefs

Former NFL quarterback Tony Romo on CBS: "It was a great throw, Burrow throws thing so early and it is in a perfect spot. But it is so well defended."

  17. field goal

Field goal - Bengalspublished at 00:32 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 3-6 Kansas City Chiefs

That's a rare red zone stop from the Chiefs, who were 31st out of 32 in red zone defence during the season, so they need to have Evan McPherson boot a 30-yard field goal.

Burrow almost threw a touchdown, with a wonderful ball over to tight end Hayden Hurst, but he just can't haul it in.

  18. Boyd againpublished at 00:29 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 0-6 Kansas City Chiefs

It's Boyd again down the middle for 24 yards this time as Joe Burrow just starts to heat up here and use this array of receiving talent he's got at his disposal.

  19. Nice throwpublished at 00:28 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 0-6 Kansas City Chiefs

Third-and-14 converted superbly by Joe Burrow who has a rare bit of time to sound out his options before throwing a dart to Tyler Boyd.

  20. Sackpublished at 00:26 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2023

Cincinnati Bengals 0-6 Kansas City Chiefs

Sack number four! The Bengals have done a good job getting the ball out of Burrow's hands quickly here for a couple of first down, but when he's targets are covered here then rookie George Karlaftis manages to drag him down again.
