  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:44 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Plymouth 1-0 Hull City

If Argyle stay up, Michael Cooper is going to be lofted on some shoulders this afternoon, mark my words.

The keeper has produced a fine save to deny Jaden Philogene's sweetly-struck effort which looked destined for the bottom corner.

  2. Postpublished at 13:42 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Birmingham 0-0 Norwich

There are 27,680, the biggest St Andrew's crowd of the season, in attendance and it's really now or never for Blues.

It might feel like it's all going against them but at present one goal here and another at Leicester and they are safe, with Blackburn being dragged into the mire.

  3. 'Muted at Elland Road'published at 13:42 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Leeds 1-2 Southampton

    Ian Woodcock
    BBC Sport at Elland Road

Pretty muted noise at the start of the second half, unsurprising considering Leeds now need five goals (two here and three for relegation-bound Huddersfield at Ipswich) to go up.

News of Town taking the lead against the Terriers earlier was greeted with some chants of "We're the famous Leeds United and we're going to Wembley".

There's plenty of work to be done over the next couple of weeks for that to happen.

If this stays as it is then Leeds will go into the post-season off the back of successive home losses.

The first time they've lost two at home in a row at this level since March 2018.

    Not ideal timing.

  4. goal

GOAL: Stoke 4-0 Bristol Citypublished at 13:41 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Million Manhoef (49 mins)

What's going on at the bet365?!

Million Manhoef scored just before half-time and he's done the same early in the second period to put his side 4-0 up.

The Potters are among the lowest scorers in the Championship but with safety secured and the pressure off they are having a field day in front of goal.

    How many more?

  5. 'Maxwell couldn't stop it'published at 13:40 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Ipswich 2-0 Huddersfield

    Matt Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

Huddersfield had the opportunities to stop it. The goalkeeper gets a really good hand on it but he just couldn't stop it from going in the back of the net.

Omari Hutchinson has taken his place in Ipswich history and got that second goal. They are even stronger now - everyone wants that ball, everyone wants a touch.

  6. Postpublished at 13:39 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Plymouth 1-0 Hull City

Two changes at the break for the visitors Liam Delap and Ozan Tufan off, Abdulkadir Omur and Noah Ohio on.

Ohio has scored three goals in seven Championship appearances for Hull, with all three coming as a substitute. He is averaging a goal every 65 minutes and has converted 43% of his efforts at goal (3/7).

Just incase Plymouth fans were getting too comfortable...

  7. goal

GOAL: Ipswich 2-0 Huddersfieldpublished at 13:39 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Omari Hutchinson (48 mins)

Ipswich Town area heading to the Premier League and Huddersfield down to League One.

Omari Hutchinson gives the Tractor Boys the ideal start to the second half, he goes for glory from outside the box and beats Chris Maxwell.

That's the sort of finish that gets a party started!

  8. goal

GOAL - Rotherham 2-2 Cardiffpublished at 13:39 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Ollie Tanner (47 minutes)

Cardiff level within minutes of the restart as Ollie Tanner makes it 2-2.

A thriller in a game with little riding on it.

  9. Mr Blue Sky on a loop?published at 13:37 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Birmingham City 0-0 Norwich City

    Ged Scott
    BBC Sport at St Andrew's

Birmingham City are trying to give themselves every chance here.

They stuck on Mr Blue Sky, their pre-match curtain raiser, for a half-time rerun.

Particularly poignant in the week we lost ELO keyboard player Richard Tandy.

All followed by a bit more UB40.

If that doesn't fire up the locals for the second half, nothing will!

  12. Carter and the Canariespublished at 13:30 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    HT: Birmingham 0-0 Norwich

    Ged Scott
    BBC Sport at St Andrew's

The last time Birmingham City played Norwich City in such a pivotal end of season game was way back in 2002 - at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.

The star that day in the Championship play-off final was local hero Darren Carter, who hit the winning penalty in the shoot-out against the Canaries to take Blues to the Premier League for the first time.

Today, the boyhood Blues fan is sat up here in the pressbox watching an equally fraught, nervous affair. But what sort of omen is it?

  13. 'All smiles at Home Park'published at 13:29 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    HT: Plymouth 1-0 Hull City

    Brent Pilnick
    BBC Sport at Home Park

It's all smiles at Home Park thanks to that Joe Edwards goal.

The smallest man on the field showed his big heart as he leapt above his marker to put the home side ahead.

With scores elsewhere going their way the home fans are a lot more relaxed than they were in the opening minutes of this game.

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Watford

Emmanuel Latte Lath's goal the difference at the break.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:28 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Stoke 3-0 Bristol City

Those two quick goals just before the break have stunned Bristol City.

Stoke fans are loving it! They haven't had too much to smile about this season but it's looking like a nice way to finish.

  16. Lack of urgency from Bluespublished at 13:28 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    HT: Birmingham 0-0 Norwich

    Nick Mashiter
    BBC Sport at St Andrew's

Whether it is confidence, nerves, a lack of quality or a mixture of all three there needs to be more urgency from Blues.

Just two wins from their last 13 games has left them playing catch up on the final day.

Norwich have offered little and Birmingham have created some promising openings, even if they have been fleeting.

A smattering of applause at the break from the home fans but they, and the team, know they have 45 minutes to find a goal - and even then it may not be good enough.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:27 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    West Brom 1-0 Preston

Alex Mowatt's penalty in first-half added time means West Brom are looking good for a play-off spot.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:27 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    Plymouth 1-0 Hull City

Joe Edwards' header has Plymouth ahead at the break, and safe, as things stand.

  19. Fired up Saints making grey day for Whitespublished at 13:26 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    HT: Leeds 1-2 Southampton

    Ian Woodcock
    BBC Sport at Elland Road

It feels like the world is against Leeds as they head into the break behind and, with Ipswich winning, surely bound for the play-offs.

Regardless of that, boss Daniel Farke will expect a reaction from his charges in the second half.

They've looked threatening in possession but have been utterly exposed by the Saints on the break several times.

Southampton look like a totally different team to the one that had slumped to three straight losses prior to today.

Their gaffer Russell Martin will be delighted with what his en have shown, including some... shall we say feisty challenges.

  20. 'One shot on target'published at 13:24 British Summer Time 4 May 2024

    HT: Swansea 0-0 Millwall

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Has a game ever given stronger end-of-season vibes than this one?

It's 13th v 14th in the Championship, there's only been one shot on target and that came two minutes before the break.
