This one is on Slot; persisting with the same tired XI and out-of-form players. Notice how much better we were after the subs with fresh legs. No need to panic but we're definitely stuttering over the line for the title.

  3. 'Result gives Fulham real European chance'published at 16:02 British Summer Time 6 April

    FT: Fulham 3-2 Liverpool

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

For their first half performance Fulham deserve it. They were the better team in the first 45 minutes and Liverpool weren't at the races.

In the second half Liverpool were the better team but Fulham defended brilliantly.

Calvin Bassey was the best player on the pitch keeping Mo Salah, the best player in the Premier League this season, quiet.

The result gives Fulham a real European chance now.

  4. A sorry day for the Saintspublished at 16:01 British Summer Time 6 April

    FT: Tottenham 3-1 Southampton

Relegation is confirmed for Southampton who remain on 10 points in the Premier League.

Will this result have any impact in terms of the destination of the Premier League title?

Probably not. Liverpool are 11 points clear at the top with seven games to go.

Arne Slot is on the pitch showing his appreciation to the travelling Liverpool fans but he does not look happy.

That was a below-par performance by his side.

This would be a new low if Spurs don't win this and that's saying something. Ange out, Levy out.

    Tottenham 2-1 Southampton

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Great finish by Mateus Fernandes but the time he has to bring it down, take his time and fire it in, nobody from Tottenham gets near him. Poor defending.

Every goal today has been avoidable.

    And another Liverpool chance!

Mo Salah and Harvey Elliott exchange passes before the latter goes for goal...it's tame and the save is made.

    Tottenham 2-0 Southampton

As I say that Yukinari Sugawara has a shot at goal and it takes a deflection before almost bobbling under Guglielmo Vicario.

Vicario recovers quickly to gather the ball. Panic over.

    Fulham 3-2 Liverpool

    Clinton Morrison

Fulham switched off and Liverpool took a quick free kick. A good opportunity for Federico Chiesa but it was a good save from Bernd Leno.
