For their first half performance Fulham deserve it. They were the better team in the first 45 minutes and Liverpool weren't at the races.
In the second half Liverpool were the better team but Fulham defended brilliantly.
Calvin Bassey was the best player on the pitch keeping Mo Salah, the best player in the Premier League this season, quiet.
The result gives Fulham a real European chance now.

A lot of Saints fans have remained in the stadium to applaud the players, despite the outcome.

Probably not. Liverpool are 11 points clear at the top with seven games to go.
Arne Slot is on the pitch showing his appreciation to the travelling Liverpool fans but he does not look happy.
