WICKET: Harmanpreet Kaur caught at deep cover

Just past the halfway stage, India are 50-3 from 11 overs needing 115 to beat West Indies. Harmanpreet Kaur has just holed out, having taken 20 balls to score seven.

  2. WI 84-4 (124 to win)published at 15 overs

Andre Russell the new man doesn't look all that happy running between the wicket. He picked up a bit of an injury in the field earlier, and a couple of times here could have gone for a quick single but held back. They do need to pick this up a bit, West Indies... Afghanistan still in this as they restrict them to five off the over.

"Here's some hope for the Afghans. Bravo moved across his stumps too far and didn't make any contact."

    WICKETpublished at 13.5 overs

Bravo lbw Nabi 28 (WI 79-4)

Or is it wobble on? Bravo is trapped lbw by a drifting Nabi delivery and the Afghans rejoice. That was a canny knock from Bravo to settle some West Indies nerves with his 28 from 29 balls but they're not home and hosed just yet...

"Bravo is on to that quickly. When he made contact, he would have thought it was going far enough."

  6. 6 runs

    WI 76-3 (48 to win from 42 balls)published at 13 overs

So when do West Indies start to go big? Rashid Khan had Martin Samuels bamboozled earlier but is now struggling to find much turn at all.

Ramdin swipes at one with real gusto but it's tightly fielded and returned quickly to the stumps for one. Here's Bravo coming to the party though with a big, big six. Wobble over?

Tony Field: Maybe they just don't want to face India or Australia......

  9. WI 66-3 (124 to win)published at 12 overs

Still not a lot of urgency from West Indies. Actually you feel there should be a bit more with Bravo and Ramdin very slow between the wickets, sauntering for one when it really should have been two. They continue to pick up the sensible runs.

  10. Women's World Twenty20published at 13:04

India need 83 from 78 balls to beat West Indies

Having given the men a 30-minute head start, the women's game is running about four overs behind the men. India are 32-2 after seven overs. Remember, an India win books England's semi-final place.

  11. WI 61-3published at 11 overs

Hamza snared the debutant Evin Lewis earlier and he and Afghanistan really need another wicket now as West Indies begin to steer slowly, dangerously towards this total.

Bravo and Ramdin unworried about it being just three off the over; the ball's not doing much and they only need a couple of big hits to bring them close.

  12. WI 58-3 (Bravo 13, Ramdin 7)published at 10 overs

Bravo swats one to the boundary in reply for four, relieved to be still there? He didn't look too worried.

"Bravo didn't push hard. He really had to get through the gears to complete the second run."

    WI 52-3

Afghanistan go upstairs - they reckon they've got Bravo run out but in truth he was comfortably home. Very quick decision. Bravo is NOT OUT.

    West Indies 114-8 v India 23-2 (5 overs)

  16. WI 50-3published at 9 overs

They need a couple more wickets quickly, Afghanistan, if we're really gonna start believing. Ramdin and Bravo know this, and that time is on their side.

Rashid looks for more turn but finds only patient eyes and cool heads as these two West Indies batsmen play the long game. Just four from the over. They need 74 more, and have 66 balls to get them.

  18. WI 46-3 (124 to win)published at 8 overs

The so far expensive Nabi returns with his side in full swing, the momentum is definitely turning. West Indies need to steady the ship a bit and Bravo and Ramdin eke out a carefully selected five from the over.
