Watch again - Jonny Bairstow may want to look away. It wasn't the best of lofted shots, and it was the simplest of catches.
I feel privileged to have had my first Root 66 situation. That's the batsman's score not me struggling with a road sign in the US. He adds another couple to that tally, and England now look poised to attack in these last 10 overs.
So, if you're feeling confident in England's batting, here are some of England's bowlers to refresh things for you.
England's very own James Anderson and Stuart Broad are in the Royal Box on Centre Court at Wimbledon. They're being made to stand up. Have they been naughty?

Bit of a dull-ish phase now as England look content to stick with the odd-boundary tactic. Prasanna adds another to Sri Lanka's wides total.

Peter: In at seven, I once contributed two to a 100 partnership - the other bat was out in the 90s before I doubled my score with winning runs.
England have had very few problems from Bandara. Another set of six produces 11 towards the total, and that includes a wide and a sweet cover drive for four from Root.

"Gunathilaka has not given the batsmen room. He has propelled into the toes and it is not in the batsman's interests to hit into the wind. He has prevented the flow of boundaries and done a fine job."
Gentle applause around the ground as Gunathilaka's bowling comes to an end. 48 off his 10 overs with three wickets, and he even manages a decent bit of fielding off Buttler, who tries to use his feet.

"A score of 340 assumes they will now go at 10 an over. They can do that but they are currently going at around six. It is a big ask. The mammoth score that seemed possible doesn't look like it is going to happen."
Buttler getting into the rhythm of things with doubles off Bandara, who keeps deviating to that leg side. Buttler then takes a single and it means Bandara has given away 50 today in his seven overs. Dear.

Watched a club game in a park last summer. Batting team had 80 after 20 overs then finished on 372 from 40. Star man hit 220 in the final 20 overs, including 24 sixes.

Aaaand time to get your hydration hats on. The players take drinks, and we've reached a very crucial stage of the innings I feel. Sri Lanka could easily sneak a few more wickets and have England on the ropes. Gunathilaka has the look of a senior bowler now, with three wickets behind him. He concedes six from the last over.

Ian Bradley: Day brings night, water's wet, Root scores another 50.
Bandara strays on to the leg side and Buttler eases his way to a first boundary. That will settle the Lancashire man no problem. And yes, England at this stage have got a range of targets. Root probably the man to lead that charge.

"England could get 250 or they could get 350. There is such a wide range of possibilities there is no point guessing."
So a breakthrough for Sri Lanka, and who else but Gunathilaka to provide it. So much for part-time and all that. England unable to tackle the off-spinner, who this time came round the wicket to get rid of Bairstow. What can new man Jos Buttler do alongside Root?

"I think he was trying to hit over mid-off, because he is on the edge of the circle, but it turned a fraction. By modern standards it almost an inside edge, but by such is modern way it carried to long-on. Bairstow had taken his time to get in , like Morgan. With Root playing the anchor role the onus is on the man at the other end to play the big shots."
Bairstow c Shanaka b Gunathilaka 22 (Eng 182-4)
Bairstow gives his wicket away! Was almost a tame dismissal in many respects. He uses his feet to try and loft Gunathilaka, but can only do so straight to long-on.
A simple on-drive gets Root his half-century. Modest applause, but the Yorkshireman will be quietly pleased as well. Bit lacking in runs from recent games.
