Quiet progression from Pakistan, but the longer this partnership goes on, the more frustrated England will get.
Chances will come - and must be taken. They weren't yesterday.

That was a big inswinger from Stuart Broad - that would have missed another set down the leg side.
Younus 102, Sarfraz 29
It's Broad on for Woakes at the Pavilion End, Sarfraz keeps it ticking with a single, while Younus scores his first run of the day as he pulls a short ball down to Moeen at fine leg. There's a very half-hearted lbw shout - so half-hearted that not even Broad thinks seriously about a review.

Neel Mistry: Hopefully England can do much better in the field today. Get four wickets for less than 100 they're definitely in the game.
Rachel T: Come on England, just four peachy deliveries needed.

Younus Khan isn't jumping around in the crease as much as he was in the last couple of Tests, but he's getting up on his toes whenever he plays off the back foot. Anderson, wicketless in this innings, gets one to seam beautifully away from the right-hander which keeper Jonny Bairstow has to take right in front of captain Alastair Cook at first slip. Anderson completes a maiden over - but with plenty of swing around, is it not worth risking a third slip?
The TMS team have noticed Stuart Broad being given the "get ready" signal. An early bowling change is in prospect.

Woakes 19-4-57-2
Sarfraz has scored all of Pakistan's runs this morning, and he helps himself to four more as Woakes strays down the leg side. 350 up. England don't want to let this partnership get away from them...
Younus 101, Sarfraz 23
James Anderson to take up residence at the Vauxhall End. He has two slips and a gully in for Sarfraz, who comes fully across his stumps to flick Jimmy's first ball from outside off stump, down to fine leg for four. That must frustrate bowlers. Anderson responds by swinging one down past the Pakistan keeper's outside edge. A fumble by Moeen Ali at mid-wicket allows them a rather unearned single.

They'll want to get rid of Sarfraz quickly. He's dangerous. I bet he's got a good strike rate as well.

Sarfraz - dubbed a "pest" by Michael Vaughan - gets the scoreboard ticking again with a single to leg. Younus, face carved from granite, is up on his toes to pat the ball back to Woakes. No danger of his stumps - which are also bright blue today, as are the umpires' hatbands - being disturbed this early.
Well done to Pakistan, who have been playing a full part in Cricket United day - coming out to be presented with blue caps. They're also wearing the charity logo on the collars of their shirts.
Chris Woakes is going to take the first over from the Pavilion End. Sarfraz Ahmed and Younus Khan to resume.

Today might be moving day. Pakistan have got to take the game forward - they need to play all the cricket. England generally play positive cricket so it should be a good day. Chris Woakes and James Anderson will be key today. It's a lot more overcast than I thought it would be. These guys utilise the new ball effectively and Stuart Broad will back them up.
It's also the first day in a fresh round of matches in the County Championship - and you can follow live text commentary on all those games, with your choice of radio commentary, here.
Just keep one of your tabs/windows on the Test, OK? "Jerusalem" is being sung - so we're nearly ready to go.
Even after losing Shafiq and captain Misbah-ul-Haq, the old master Younus Khan was still there at the close - pushing Pakistan past 300 and then bringing up his 32nd Test century.
Still plenty of points to play for in the Super Series - even after this game, there are five ODIs and a T20 international to come - with two points available to the winner of each.
A couple of odd moments yesterday - firstly, Younus Khan survived a rather curious lbw review from England when the ball hit the middle of the bat..
Meanwhile, debutant Iftikhar Ahmed played a very inadvisable shot to only his fourth ball in Test cricket. Geoffrey Boycott on TMS said he wouldn't comment on the shot, as he didn't want to swear on air.

"I scored my first Test century on this ground in 1983, batting with Chris Tavare. And he scored his century before I got mine, even though he was supposed to be the slowest batsman ever!"
Shafiq tucked into Moeen Ali, hoisting him for a six shortly before bringing up his century - but he eventually fell to a superb Stuart Broad catch at mid-wicket.
