Chris Jordan, usually a yorker man, might have to switch from that plan here. Dhoni asks the umpire to mop his helmet of sweat. That cloth will fetch plenty eBay,

Parvez Rasool, helpfully with 'Parry' on the back of his shirt (presumably a tribute to Lancashire's Stephen) is the new man. India have only hit three boundaries - two fours and a six - since the end of the 10th over. England's control and variations have been excellent.

Some smart cricket being played here by England. They left that mid-on up and played a short ball which was always going to be taken on. Really, really good stuff from England.

    Pandya c Billings b Mills 9 (Ind 118-6)

India can't get going. Hardik Pandya is the latest man in the procession, giving a first international wicket to Tymal Mills. An up-and-under cut comes down with snow on it, held by Sam Billings at deep point.

  6. Ind 117-5published at 16 overs

After a iffy start with the ball, England have mastered the conditions well. Changes of pace, of length, often slamming the ball into the surface. A criticism would be extras - Stokes has bowled three wides in this over.

We could be in for a shorter interval as this innings is running late. That doesn't go down well if you are a TV executive in India. Got to fit all those adverts in somewhere...

I think we can now say with some certainty that Rashid won't be getting a bowl unless things go very badly wrong for England. Ben Stokes is back, then it will be Chris Jordan and Tymal Mills. The lights beam down, the crowd are awoken from a run-free slumber by Dhoni's drive through the covers for four.

A great showcase of fielding skills. Ben Stokes and Eoin Morgan leaping around like salmons. They have set the standard. Great athleticism.

India are behind the 8-ball but they will be trying to get to 150 at least. England will be delighted with this.

Yep, Adil Rashid is in serious danger of getting the Thanks For Coming Award here. Still no sign of him bowling and he might not get a bat. Still, he's taken a good catch. Speaking of good fielding, Ben Stokes thrashes around like a fish out of water to prevent the ball reaching the long-on boundary. India can't get away.

Neil: What is the point of Rashid in the team today?

Richard Lindsay: Good to see England bowling well, limiting a very good batting side here.

    Moeen 4-0-21-2

Hardik Pandya, who can give it a whack, is the new man. Replays confirm that Pandey's leg before would have hit the top of middle stump. Moeen takes his cap with wonderful figures of 2-21 - he only got hit for one boundary.

Subtle turn there from Moeen. Disappointment for Pandey, he hasn't been able to justify his selection for this game. The incoming man Hardik Pandya looked threatening in the last one dayer, he couldn't quite see India over the line but he just tried to smack everything out of the ground. Maybe that's the way to go here.

Pandey lbw Moeen 3 (Ind 98-5)

It gets better for England, who continue to make inroads into this India batting. Manish Pandey has, erm, missed a straight one and is leg before to Moeen Ali. He looks hacked off, but there are no reviews in T20s. Even if he had reviewed it, I suspect it would have been wasted. India are losing their way here.

A young lad who was keen to get into cricket joined our local village side. His older brother had advised him to tell everyone he was a wicket keeper as all you had to do was stand by the stumps and catch the ball. He seemed pretty confident until the first over when he stood directly next to their batsman, ready to receive the first ball.

Looking again, Stokes got that yorker in exactly at the base of the leg stump. I'm really not sure how Raina missed it. Manish Pandey is the new man, so two right-handers at the crease. It might now be time for Adil Rashid.

That was brilliant, around the legs! Full and well executed, he got it in the blockhole. In the end Raina got nowhere near that.

Real disappointment for Raina and for India as it was looking like he was going to get a big score.

What a comeback! Ben Stokes, just hit out of Kanpur, fizzes a yorker around the pads of Suresh Raina, clobbering the leg stump. At first, the crowd don't know what has happened, all they can see is the ball scuttling to fine leg. When they do know, it's wall-to-wall silence.

Dhoni has taken off his helmet. He can do what he likes but he'll only ask for it back in a minute. It all takes time out of the game.

A little bit of grey at the temples of Dhoni now. He's been training with the army and you have to work harder as you get older.
