There's a full house here tonight. The ground holds about 48,000 and there's only one road to the stadium. That's been chocca-blok for the last two and a half hours. Goodness knows what time we'll all get home tonight.

With India apparently set to make the pitch bigger to help them against England, we'd like to know what unusual methods your team has adopted to try and beat another side?

  3. Flat trackpublished at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2017

Apparently, unlike the World T20 opener last year, in which India were spun a merry dance by the Kiwis, this surface is going to be as flat as you like. A potential run-fest beckons, even with big boundaries.

The word on the streets of Nagpur are that the Indian management have told the groundsmen to keep the boundaries as big as possible for this second T20. Most grounds are 65 yards at their longest stretch, but they could be as big as 75 for this match., external

The theory is that it turns spin bowlers into more attacking options and looks to lessen the big hitters England have in their line-up. However, if the Indians feel they are out-gunned by England on smaller pitches, that is only going to be more pronounced with the ropes further out.

These professional bowlers should think themselves lucky. They should try playing at the Greyhound in Tong. You can edge it through the slips for six there.

  5. Good toss to lose?published at 13:15 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2017

It's only early afternoon and we've already been treated to a cracker of a fight from Las Vegas followed by Federer and Nadal winding back the years in an epic five setter in Australia. Now lets hope for an all-action 40 overs in Nagpur.

So India are padding up first - it may not be such a bad thing for Kohli's men - of the ten T20i matches played at this ground, seven have been won by the team batting first.

England: Roy, Billings, Root, Morgan, Buttler, Stokes, Moeen, Jordan, Dawson, Rashid, Mills.

  7. 'Tough to chase a score here'published at 13:07 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2017

India captain Virat Kohli: "Preferably we would have bowled first. In the last game here against New Zealand it was tough to chase a score down. We have brought in a leg-spinner today."

So, Amit Mishra is in for Parvez Rasool.

  8. 'Not a blade of grass on it'published at 13:05 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2017

England captain Eoin Morgan: "There's not a blade of grass on it, it looks like a typical Indian wicket. It's coming towards the end of the tour and we are looking to finish it as well as we can, there's a lot of determination out there but we're not taking our two wins for granted."

England have won the toss and will bowl first. They have made one change. One Liam for another. Dawson for Plunkett.

It was the bowling what won it.

All tour, England fans have bemoaned the weakness of their side's bowling attack, which repeatedly failed to get them a Test win and only belatedly came to the party in the dead rubber final one-dayer.

But, finally, the lads with the ball have come to the party to help their side to success in the first T20 and set up what could be a big tour-closing, morale-boosting series triumph.
