Ralph Booker: An indication of Sri Lanka's woes is that Lasith Malinga still makes the side. Once feared. I can't even find him in the rankings.
He is indeed not in the current top 100 ODI bowlers.
Rohit 66 Dhawan 43
This is Rohit and Dhawan's 10th century opening partnership which puts them fifth on the all-time list.
Dhawan started as the aggressor but now Rohit has taken that on and has raced ahead in the scoring.
Here is the six which brought up his 50 and the 100 partnership.

Derek Lambada: India to reach 400 today. Hard to see anyone else winning this tournament.
Rohit 65 Dhawan 42
After a watchful start those sixes bring Rohit's strike rate to almost 100.
That is beautiful. He looks in amazing touch. Rohit dances down the pitch to Gunathilaka and hits him to the left of mid-off for four.
Good comeback from the bowler. He beats the outside edge.

It's a shame the boundary is so short on that side. It makes six hitting far too easy. Both of those shots would have been catches if the rope was back on the fence.
Rohit 58 Dhawan 42
First six of the day but Rohit has got away with one a little.
He pulls Thisara Perera high in the air to deep square leg where the ball is tipped over the rope by the fielder at full stretch above his head. It would be harsh to call that a drop.
That brings up the Indian 100 and Rohit's 50.
Six again! Much better this time. Another pull, this time more controlled and the ball lands directly on the boundary.

Rohit says: India are the team to beat this tournament. Batting line up is so good.
Especially that Rohit Sharma eh?
33-year-old Lasith Malinga is not particularly regarded for his fielding. He put a decent effort in to try and stop a Rohit boundary earlier on but in the end it all looked a little ungainly.
Off spinner Gunathilaka races through another over but can't stop the batsmen milking four runs from it.

The bounce can be a factor at The Oval. The ball often hits batsmen on the top of the pad and therefore the ball would be missing. It's hard to get lbws here.
Another confident appeal. This time from fast bowler Perera.
He is certain he's got his man after thudding the ball into Rohit's pads.
Good decision from the umpire. That was just a little too high.

Ibrahim Hoti: This has to be the softest Sri Lanka side we've seen in a long time. No players in the top 23 of the ICC rankings for ODI bowlers and batsmen.
Suranga Lakmal is the highest-ranked Sri Lankan ODI bowler at 24th. Captain Angelo Mathews is the highest-ranked batsman at 26th.
Congrats to Ravi Jadeja. It looks like he has just become a father.
We think he'll have found out before this game started rather than during play like the rest of us, courtesy of Sachin's tweet.
A five-fer to celebrate this afternoon?

It's exactly the same pattern developing for India as in their game against Pakistan. They are laying a big platform.
Rohit 41 Dhawan 38
Yes, hawkeye confirms that ball was missing the leg stump.
Still, that's a couple of close moments in the last two overs for the Sri Lankans, more than we saw in the previous 16 overs. That should give them a boost as they head for a drink.
Big appeal from spinner Gunathilaka as he thinks he's got Dhawan trapped in front as the left-hander looks to sweep.
There was no turn. I think it was going down the leg side.
To add insult to injury, Rohit sweeps for four a ball later, despite the diving efforts of Lasith Malinga at fine leg.
That's better! Pradeep gets a little bit of seam movement and beats Shikhar Dhawan. That is the first time the ball has beaten the bat for a good while.
Again a little bit of danger for Dhawan. He shapes for a pull but doesn't commit and ends up just popping the ball up in the air towards square leg.
There is no fielder there though so not too much worry.

Rich Brown: So far England have looked head and shoulders above their opposition. But India have looked head, shoulders, knees and toes above.
Yep. As Ed says India will be eyeing more than the 319 they scored against Pakistan in the first game.
These two are comfortably accumulating, knowing they have Kohli, Yuvraj, Dhoni and Pandya to come.
Eeeeek. That's enough to send Sri Lankan fans into nervous sweats.

I've heard people saying India will get 330 today. I think Sri Lanka will take that now - India should be on for 350 or 360.
