So, lunch has arrived on the final day and we're a session closer to knowing the full results in this round.

We'll give you a look at the latest scorecards shortly.....

    Derbyshire 281 & 351-1 dec v Northamptonshire 307

They've finally had enough of some "joke bowling" at Derby and the hosts have decided they've got enough to set up a chase.

Northants will chase 326 in a minimum of 65 overs.

  4. Surrey back aheadpublished at 13:00 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Surrey 319 & 153-2 (f/o) v Lancashire 470

Scott Borthwick (47 not out) and Kumar Sangakkara (43 not out) continue to enjoy themselves at The Oval and have guided Surrey back into the lead in their follow-on.

A partnership of 87 runs so far for the third wicket.

  5. Wicket time finally at Derbypublished at 12:57 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Derbyshire 281 & 341-1 v Northamptonshire 307

There's been all sorts of gifts and freebies dished up this morning in the east Midlands.

Finally, Northants' occasional bowlers have a breakthrough....

Luis Reece is dismissed for 168 from 246 balls.

The hosts now 315 runs ahead.

  6. Five wicket haul for Stevenspublished at 12:54 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Kent 304 & 413-5d v Sussex 291 & 83-6

There's no denying Darren Stevens. The Kent seamer picks up his five-wicket haul in the next over as Sussex debutant Delray Rawlins is caught behind for nine.

This game may well all be over before lunch at Hove.

  7. wicket

WICKET Wright (lbw b Claydon) 7published at 12:48 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Kent 304 & 413-5d v Sussex 291 & 83-5

Darren Stevens has been denied the opportunity to take all 10 of the Sussex wickets in this innings but I doubt the Kent player will mind.

Mitchell Claydon gets in on the act with the ball as he traps Luke Wright lbw for seven.

The visitors are on the brink of an impressive and rather simple win here at Hove now.

Adam Voges doesn't look in too much trouble as he repels all that Hampshire can throw at him.

Abbott is back for a second stint after a five-over spell earlier this morning that brought him little joy on an increasingly unresponsive pitch.

Voges is taking his time in making sure champions Middlesex come out of this game with a draw.

Hampshire's solitary success this morning has been claiming nightwatchman Steven Finn's wicket.

There are a few more tougher hurdles to overcome if they are to claim victory.

  9. Mixed sporting fortunes in Sussex today?published at 12:37 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Sussex 291 & 80-4 (target 427) v Kent 304 & 413-5 dec

So, looks like one section of Sussex sport might not have a lot to shout about today.

Local football fans of a Brighton persuasion will hope that's not a bad omen.

The Seagulls can potentially secure promotion to the Premier League later when they face Wigan Athletic at the nearby Amex Stadium.

You can follow all the day's action in the EFL right here on BBC Sport later.

  10. Naughty boy nets?published at 12:31 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

Yorkshire (381) beat Warwickshire (178 & 115) by an innings and 88 runs

It didn't take long earlier for Yorkshire to wrap up a win against Warwickshire.

Our man at Edgbaston has spotted a bit of extra practice being done by a certain home side batsman after another disappointing return....

  11. wicket

WICKET Evans (lbw b Stevens) 2published at 12:31 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Kent 304 & 413-5d v Sussex 291 & 74-4

The Sussex batsmen are acting like they've never seen Darren Stevens bowl.

Laurie Evans plays all around his pads and is trapped lbw for just two.

Are we even going to get to lunch at Hove?

  12. Scott & Kumar plough onpublished at 12:25 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Surrey 319 & 129-2 (f/o) v Lancashire 470

Surrey are chipping away at the deficit they have to Lancashire in their follow-on.

Scott Borthwick and Kumar Sangakkara are moving the hosts back towards parity with a decent third-wicket stand so far.

It's being very much enjoyed by Mr Mark Church on the mic....

  13. wicket

WICKET van Zyl (c Ball b Stevens) 0published at 12:22 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Kent 304 & 413-5d v Sussex 291 & 68-3

Sussex are folding quicker than a pack of cards to Darren Stevens at Hove as Stiaan va Zyl becomes the seamers third wicket of the morning.

The South African departs for a duck as he's caught by substitute Adam Ball in the slips.

Kent will be more than confident of picking up an important victory away from home.

  14. Notts need 108 to beat Durhampublished at 12:21 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Durham 162 & 250 v Nottinghamshire 305 & 5-0 (target 108)

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Newcastle at Chester-le-Street

The sun in shining and barring an incredible bowling performance from Durham, Notts should ease to victory in Chester-le-Street.

They only need 108 to win and there are 79 overs to do it in and the weather forecast is fine.

Durham managed to make 250 before they were all out and that included a ninth century in the past year for England opener Keaton Jennings. But he was left stranded on 102 as he ran out of partners.

After he and Mark Wood had offered some resistance with an eighth-wicket partnership of 45, the last two wickets yielded just six runs.

  15. Two tons up for Derbyshirepublished at 12:19 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Derbyshire 281 & 251-0 v Northamptonshire 307

Runs keep rattling along at Derby as the dolly drops continue from Northants.

Billy Godleman (106 not out) and Luis Reece (132 not out) have both reached centuries as the arranged target creeps ever closer with the hosts' lead at 225.

Northants wicket-keeper Adam Rossington is even having a trundle now...

  16. 50 runs

50 for Adam Vogespublished at 12:15 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Hampshire 438 v Middlesex 356 & 149-5

Middlesex continue to eek out some more runs in this morning session and Adam Voges registers a half-century.

It's taken 115 balls and included five fours.

The champions now 67 runs ahead.

  17. wicket

WICKET Nash (c Rouse b Stevens) 31published at 12:12 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Kent 304 & 431-5d v Sussex 291 & 66-2

Darren Stevens continues to pick up vital wickets for Kent at 40-year-young.

His second scalp of the innings comes as Chris Nash paddles the ball behind to wicketkeeper Adam Rouse.

Another 361 runs needs to win for the hosts at Hove, just eight wickets now for Kent.

  18. Buffet is open at Derbypublished at 12:06 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Derbyshire 281 & 203-0 v Northamptonshire 307

Alex Winter mentioned earlier there would probably be some collusion between Derbyshire and Northamptonshire to get a result.

    Cue the occasional bowlers....

  19. Gurney wraps up Durham inningspublished at 12:04 British Summer Time 17 April 2017

    Durham 162 & 250 v Nottinghamshire 305

For all of Keaton Jennings' resistance the rest of the Durham batting line-up have not been able to offer him much support.

Graham Onions becomes the latest batsman to be bowled by Harry Gurney before Chris Rushworth is embarrassingly run out, after pausing having taken a single.

A poor end to the innings and Nottinghamshire require 108 runs to clinch victory at Chester-le-Street.
