The "Watford Wall" Steven Finn has finally come tumbling down for Middlesex.

Keaton Jennings continues to press his case for solidifying his place in the England side as he becomes the first player to make a century at Chester-le-Street in this match.

    Hampshire 438 v Middlesex 356 & 133-4

Forty-five minutes played on the final morning at Ageas Bowl and not a lot going on.

But, I don't think Middlesex will care too much as they've pushed their lead beyond 50 without losing another wicket.

The "Watford Wall" Steven Finn (16 not out off 40 balls) is continuing in his stoic role having been nightwatchman last evening.

Adam Voges (39 not out) also standing firm.

It was an impressive victory for Yorkshire, who lost to Hampshire last week, but Warwickshire remain rooted to the bottom of Division One after yet another heavy defeat.

BBC Radio Northampton sport at Derby

Derbyshire resuming 116 runs ahead this morning and the only chance of a result is via some collusion - and the strong rumours are, that is exactly what we're going to get.

Max Holden and Rob Keogh have opening the bowling, so nothing silly just yet, but the Northants bowlers were having a swim rather than warm-up this morning, so that tells you what the visitors have in mind this morning.

Alex Wakely talked a lot pre-season about being prepared to lose to win and trying to entertain and the huge benefits of winning games rather than drawing, so we'll see if he's as good as his word here.

After some superb batting on Easter Sunday evening from captain Sam Northeast and Darren Stevens, Kent are fully in control here at Hove.

Their fun was cut short last night, with bad light taking the players off an hour early.

Kent declared just before the start of play, setting the hosts an unlikely 427 to win.

    Image caption,

Kent had their final day huddle this morning, as they aim to bowl Sussex out today.

But the spectre of the English weather may stop the visitors' charge.

Rain is expected today at some point in the afternoon.

Kent will hope they can rattle the hosts out early and swiftly, while Sussex may hope that if they last for a session and a half, they may well be saved from defeat.
