Stephen Appelbee: Favourite TMS session: driving back to London from North Berwick listening to Botham and Dilley dismantle the Aussies
Tom Wright: Favourite @bbctms, external moment? Boycott on all things Katy Perry with gentle encouragement from @Aggerscricket, external
Lexy Needham: Best memory was wandering around a festival hearing the TMS commentary of the Edgbaston 2005 Ashes Test coming from every tent.
Root 5, Hales 9
Now Root is into the action, on his toes and whipping the ball down to the boundary for his first runs. Right-armer Peter Chase doesn't half whirl through an over, sending down three deliveries quickly before Hales drives a loose, wide ball away for another boundary.
Watch all the Ireland wickets in chronological order, because, unless you're Irish, why wouldn't you?
That's a corker from Hales, a free-flowing drive, and the ball races away to the mid-off boundary. Pitched up from Murtagh and Hales just let his arms go. Murtagh spears his next delivery fuller, and Hales blocks.
Eng 1-1
Right then. Joe Root is out to join Alex Hales, but it's Hales who will face Tim Murtagh. Is that a drop? That was a tough chance - Hales slapped the ball back down the pitch, Murtagh was going left as the ball went right. He got a hand to it but couldn't cling on.
Eng 1-1
That was horrible from Roy. A lazy pull shot that flew straight to George Dockrell. Dockrell had been put there exactly for that shot, and he'd already fielded the first three deliveries from there. An unhappy return for Roy.
Roy c Dockrell b Chase 0 (Eng 1-1)
That's out! Easy as you like, and Jason Roy is heading back for a duck!
Watch as Adil Rashid completes his first ODI five-for as Tim Murtagh is caught at long-off, ending the Ireland innings for a very paltry 126.
Ireland have slipped down the ICC Rankings - they're currently 12th, with Afghanistan and Zimbabwe overtaking them in recent years.
Alex Hales and Jason Roy are out at Bristol, the Ireland fielders following them onto the pitch. Peter Chase will get the innings underway.
Anthony Petch: Ireland batting like England did in India v the spinners, only it's May & in Bristol
Harry Cunningham: What's happened to Ireland? A few years ago I was so full of hope for them. Now they seem to have gone massively backwards :(
Cheers, Dawkesy. Well. That was horrible from Ireland. They've rather handed Adil Rashid a five-for - and here's one of those wickets below, that of Niall O'Brien, who was the ninth man out.
Ireland lost eight wickets for 45 runs to end their innings. Ouch. Seven of those wickets were to spin.
I'm handing you back to Amy Lofthouse, who will take you through the England chase.
England need 127 runs to win
We are not even going to have an early lunch. England are going to come straight out for what should be a straightforward chase. Ireland wound, say hello to salt.

Very few spinners get five-fer's in one-day cricket.
Murtagh c Hales b Rashid 15 (Ire 126 all out)
All over. Rashid is hammered down the ground and is caught by Alex Hales at long off. It completes a first ever ODI five-for for the Yorkshire spinner. Excellent for him, embarrassing for Ireland.

It's embarrassing, I'm afraid. Ireland are on the cusp of Test match cricket, an ageing squad, and this is just not good enough.

Again, the Irish are playing across the line to very straight deliveries. He's missed that all ends up. You don't play cross batted shots to straight balls, and Ireland are in all sorts of bother.
N O'Brien lbw Rashid 16 (Ire 121-9)
Another one goes and it is another lbw. Niall O'Brien goes cross-batted to try and hammer Rashid to leg but gets it all wrong and is trapped in front on one knee. The end is nigh.

It's been really disappointed from Ireland. The ball hasn't really swung or seamed. There's been a few dismissals where they haven't picked the spin, but some of the other guys need to have a look at what they were doing.
