  1. 'A tremendous morning for Sussex'published at 12:59 British Summer Time 22 September 2017

    Sussex 346 & 302 v Durham 385 & 92-7

    Adrian Harms
    Sports reporter, BBC Sussex

A tremendous morning for Sussex who have bowled beautifully, albeit helped by some indifferent Durham batting.

At one stage Durham had lost 7-42 with only an unbroken eighth-wicket stand of 31 extending the game into the afternoon session.

Chris Jordan has been the pick of the Sussex attack, with a wonderful spell of quick bowling that could easily have resulted in more than the two wickets he has taken.

Houston, Texas is a hotbed of cricket in the United States, with thousands of people playing every weekend.

Houston Indian Cricket Club were formed in 1986 as Jolly Cricket Club, and seven of their players have represented the United States.

Watch above as players discuss bowling to the legendary Sachin Tendulkar in the nets and how India captain Virat Kohli uses singing to help him relax.

  3. Draw 'inevitable' in Cardiffpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 22 September 2017

    Glamorgan 442 & 154-1 v Gloucestershire 399-8d

Glamorgan's overnight batsmen Nick Selman and Andrew Salter proceeded quietly through the first session as the match in Cardiff meandered gently on.

Selman's innings was an assured affair while stand-in number three Salter looked in some difficulty at times against short balls from the left-arm pace of Matt Taylor, but also hit more attacking shots.

There is now no real chance of setting up a run-chase, with Glamorgan showing few signs of accelerating and Gloucestershire not willing to give away easy runs.

A placid pitch and a slight miscalculation by visitors' skipper Phil Mustard have proved fatal to the chances of a final day's excitement.

  4. Lunch update from a tense Headingleypublished at 12:47 British Summer Time 22 September 2017

    Warwickshire 219 & 251 v Yorkshire 296 & 141-7 (53 overs)

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM at Headingley

Unlikely as it might have seemed at this time on Tuesday, this match has turned out to be compelling throughout and has developed into a final day of great drama.

Yorkshire struggled badly in the first hour, and were unable to settle on the best way to play Jeetan Patel.

They were almost completely becalmed after Gary Ballance was hit on the pad by Patel's arm-ball; Jack Leaning lifted the siege with a boundary and then tickled the next ball to leg slip; Tim Bresnan, refusing to be restricted, slogged to midwicket for 0.

When Ryan Sidebottom induced an edge from Andrew Hodd - caught, inevitably, by Patel - Yorkshire were still 79 short.

But Matthew Fisher knuckled down and Steve Patterson chose the right deliveries to attack, and they reduced the requirement to 34 at lunch. After the most glorious sunny morning, rain, possibly shortly after lunch, is now a threat; storm clouds gathering around Headingley in every sense, but a treat of a match for cricket-lovers.

  5. 'Too tough to call at the Ageas Bowl'published at 12:44 British Summer Time 22 September 2017

    Hampshire 254 v Essex 76 & 362

    Kevan James
    Sport Presenter, BBC Radio Solent

A session of two halves. The first one went to Hampshire, who took three wickets. But the second definitely went to the champions, with a ninth-wicket stand worth 82 between Neil Wagner and James Foster putting this game ever so slightly in the champions' favour.

Having said that, you really can't call this one.

We're allowed to laugh at James Weighell, who has invented a new shot at Chester-le-Street.
