I think some of the strangest animals I've seen on a cricket pitch have been team-mates.
This small frog hopped on to the top of the stumps at Chester-le-Street just before play started in the match between Durham and Notts. They're in One-Day Cup action on a packed Sunday programme. Buttler 43, Curran 20
Abbas hits back with a couple of snorters that somehow miss both the bat and the stumps.
Amir is going to keep bowling, with England's lead already up to nearly 150.

The physio has arrived to speak to Amir down on the boundary.
Well if none of the remaining England batsmen pass fifty, then they'll break that record now.
Sam Curran smacks away a sublime drive for four.

315, which England are on, is the record for the highest score in an innings in which no batsman has passed 50. Buttler is on 43 at the moment. The record is held by England.
Lead by 141
This is tough to watch, Amir is clearly in absolute agony as he walks off at the end of his first over.
The Pakistan physio is making his way round the boundary to Amir as Abbas prepares to bowl.
It looks like he'll try to carry on to help his side take these last three wickets, but he's got to be careful not to cause himself long-term damage.
What a manic first over from Amir.
A big hooper clips Buttler's pads and brings a vociferous appeal from the Pakistan players.
Meanwhile, the ball races away fine for four leg byes.
Not out - replays show it was pitching outside leg and missing leg stump by millimeters.
Amir pushes it across Buttler but it's met with an exquisite cover drive that races away to the fence.
Sublime stroke and more grimacing from Amir, both for conceding the boundary and the obvious pain he's feeling in his shoulder.

Amir is in real pain at the moment. He had a struggle with his shoulder yesterday, but not to the same extent.
Jonathan Agnew
BBC cricket correspondent on Test Match Special
Amir is clutching his left shoulder. He looks as if he's intending to carry on but he looked in absolute agony.
Really worrying signs for Mohammad Amir and Pakistan.
The left-arm quick goes for a big, swinging delivery first up, it hoops in to Jos Buttler's legs and he clips it fine to the fence for four.
Amir walks back to his mark in agony, holding his left shoulder.

Sam Curran is the 10th England player to have a birthday on Test debut.
He's also the second player to have started his debut Test as a teenager and finish it as a 20-year-old. Graham McKenzie of Australia is the other. He made his debut in 1961.
Buttler 35, Curran 16
So Buttler has already laid out how he will play Abbas, walking at him and trying to dominate - Abbas goes short and Buttler rocks an immaculate pull shot out to the man in the deep for one.
Curran stayed back to Abbas last night and does so again here, defending one and playing and missing at the last. Decent cherry that.
It wasn't outside the line but Buttler had started just out of his crease and walked at Abbas - it him on the knee but because he was so far down, the ball was going over the stumps.
Good decision not to review it. Signs of movement already under cloudy skies in Leeds.
Vic Marks
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
That's similar to how Buttler was out at Lord's. That could easily have been hitting the stumps, but it might have been outside the line.

Mohammad Abbas to Jos Buttler first up - he gets it to come back in and onto the knee roll.
Big appeal! It's pretty straight...but not given.
Pakistan deliberate but opt against the review.
Pakistan have just strode out onto the pitch.
And here come Jos Buttler and Sam Curran.
We'll be under way shortly...

What are these boxes you find at the end of the street? Something to do with electricity? Either way, the one on St Michael's Lane has been decorated...

England might have been surprised by Mohammad Abbas' success at Lord's. They had to do something to disrupt him. With a spinner you might run down the pitch, but you can't do that to a fast bowler. So they batted out of their crease and it has worked for them. Abbas has been completely thrown, he didn't know how to respond.
