  2. Eng 260-8published at 49 overs

Despite all those rapid overs of spin, India are behind with their overs. They should have completed the innings by 16:00 BST. There have been a few wickets of course. Liam Plunkett will face the final over from Yadav.

What a clever shot that is from Adil Rashid!

  4. 6 runs

    Eng 254-8published at 48.3 overs

Kuldeep Yadav's 6-25 are the best figures by a spin bowler against England in ODI cricket.

  6. Eng 246-8published at 48 overs

    Rashid 14, Plunkett 0

Twelve deliveries left for England - the one factor in their favour is that Kuldeep is not allowed to bowl any of them. A reminder that the 23-year-old left-arm wrist spinner finished with 6-25 from his 10 overs.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 47.4 overs

    Moeen c Kohli b Umesh 24 (Eng 245-8)

He followed that with a stylish four over backward point but the cameo ends as Kohli takes the catch on the deep mid-wicket boundary.

  8. 6 runs

    Eng 241-7published at 47.2 overs

It's only the third maximum of the match but Moeen pulls Umesh sweetly off the middle of the bat and it sails into the sun-baked crowd.

  10. Eng 237-7published at 47 overs

A better over for England, Rashid thumping Siddarth down the ground and Moeen backing away to drive the headbanded seamer for four more.

England have registered three boundaries since the 25th over, and one of those was from a misfield.

  12. Eng 223-7published at 46 overs

Adil Rashid is the new batsman and he collects two off Umesh, but there has been no England boundary since the 34th over.

Sreejay: Apparently, the Indian bowling is better than Australia's - even the seamers! No 400+ scores in this series, I would venture.

It's only the third time a visiting spin bowler has taken a five-wicket haul in England in ODI cricket.

Murali took 5-34 in 1998 at Lord's for Sri Lanka and Suraj Randiv took 5-42 at Old Trafford in 2011.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 45 overs

    Willey c Rahul b Kuldeep 1 (Eng 216-7)

Make that six for Kuldeep. Not a great ball for a change but Willey has holed out to deep mid-wicket. It's the fourth-best return by an India bowler in ODIs, the left-armer finishing with 6-25 from his 10, with no boundaries conceded and 38 dot balls racked up.

Stokes has not found any kind of rhythm. He hung in there, got the fifty then thought he could explode in the last few overs and get the team to 280. He'd worked so hard to get that 50.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 44.1 overs

    Stokes c Siddarth b Kuldeep 50 (Eng 214-6)

He's gone now Ruth. It was a distinctly un-Stokes-like innings. He tried a reverse sweep and actually hit it well but it was brilliantly pouched diving at backward point and a maiden ODI five-for for India's new spin sensation, to add to his 5-24 in the T20's.
