There is the tiniest bit of mizzle in the air. It is windy out there, too. Essentially, these are horrible conditions for batting in.

Lord's groans in unison as Anderson swings one past Pujara's bat. I'll never ever get bored of watching Jimmy bowl like this. A wicket maiden. The bowling coach applauds from the balcony.

I can see the rain falling now. Murali Vijay might have only needed to hold on a few more minutes. Cheteshwar Pujara is the new batsman. Can Anderson take more wickets before the rain becomes too heavy?

They’ll be happier facing Broad because he’s a hit the deck bowler rather than a swing bowler, but I still think he’s a brilliant bowler. He was the main reason we won at Edgbaston, got those vital early wickets to give England belief. Don’t write him off, he has years left in him.
