That's some good fielding in the deep by England to keep India down to one. It was Adil Rashid! I forgot he was playing. He didn't bowl in the first innings, didn't bat and probably won't bowl today in these conditions.
He won't stop that one though, a clip off the pads from Rahane for four. Woakes hits back well again with another good delivery.

Would it be possible for Jimmy to take it easy while I step away from my laptop for a late lunch. Happy for normal service to resume in about 30 minutes ...

Joe Root has a chat with Anderson after the first three balls of his latest over. Now Stuart Broad chirps up with something else a couple of balls later. Anderson has had three overs since the restart and hasn't taken a wicket. That's a drought.
Pujara 7, Rahane 5
Almost! That is a really good over from Chris Woakes. After a quiet start he is making things happen. He finds Rahane's edge this time but the ball drops just a few inches short of Alastair Cook at first slip. Woakes is not best pleased.

Ooooof. Chris Woakes is driven for four but then responds with a beauty that does swing - going against everything I have just said - and beats the edge. Woakes grumbles.
Sam Curran also got Cheteshwar Pujara out twice when Surrey played Yorkshire earlier this season. I'm certain we'll see him soon. Anderson is not bowling quite as full. There isn't as much swing. Maybe the ball has got wet. Maybe he's just waiting for the lacquer to come off the ball.

I imagine we’ll be seeing Sam Curran soon, swing is his big asset.

Everyone is well wrapped up at Lord's. The crowd are in waterproof coats and Jos Buttler has the thick jumper on at slip. There hasn't been as much movement since we restarted. It's early days but the Indian batsmen are looking a little more comfortable.

England will only need a session to win this game. No amount of rain can stop them.

Pujara 6, Rahane 1
There's no drama in Anderson's first over. Pujara steals a single off the final ball.
Cheteshwar Pujara is the other man at the crease. When he looks up after taking his guard he'll see Jimmy Anderson ready to bowl.

A reminder that India are two down but Virat Kohli is not batting. That was because he had time off the field earlier with a bad back and had to wait 37 minutes before being allowed to bat. The India captain is stretching that back in the dressing room and peering out of a widow. He could bat next if a wicket was to fall.
Ajinkya Rahane is in Kohli's place and Woakes is appealing after hitting him on the pad. Turns out there was a big inside edge. Get a short leg in! It's not like England haven't got runs to play with.
It's just spitting with rain.

Chris Woakes has had chance to refresh, take his time munching on some roast lamb and will new start this session off.
Away we go.
Just joining us? A 90-minute rain delay is about to end.
Earlier, England batted for 40 minutes, adding 39 runs, before declaring with a lead of 289. Chris Woakes was 137 not out.
We managed nine overs of the India innings before the rain. Inevitably James Anderson claimed wickets - two of them. He dismissed Murali Vijay for 0 and KL Rahul for 10.

BBC Sport at Lord's
The Nursery Ground is still pretty busy at Lord’s, although people are keeping their brollies up while they eat their picnics. There’s also a cracking game of cricket going on between a young spinner and his batsman mate.
Lord's has a swanky hover cover and a fancy outfield that drains in a flash but it's not all high-tec. It seems a bit of water has seeped under the covers and onto the outfield so two young chaps are stamping on top of a towel to try and soak it up.
We've all had to do it.
Maybe they just don't serve a well known brand of tea from Yorkshire, which I'm probably not allowed to name, in the dressing room.
A colleague has just sent me this picture of Jonny Bairstow getting the teas in.
Is the kettle bust in the dressing room?
