  1. Getting in is hard - Bellpublished at 10:43 British Summer Time 11 June 2018

    Glamorgan 220 & 55-0 v Warwickshire 250 - match resumes at 11:00 BST

Warwickshire batsman Ian Bell is not basking in the glory of a first Championship century since April 2016, ending a 32-game drought. He is intent only on ensuring that it helps the Division Two leaders go on and beat Glamorgan at Edgbaston.

"This is going to be a great game of cricket so it was nice to contribute. It was important to get a lead," Bell told BBC WM.

"It is a used pitch, so quite slow and takes a bit of getting in. It is hard when you start on nought and have the footholes to deal with. That's what we have to work on tomorrow.

"If we can get new men in things can look different. They played well to get through the new ball. We have got to keep working hard and keep the scoring rate down until we can get two new guys at the crease."

It is occasionally asserted that no-one watches County Championship cricket any more, but yesterday's in-between-innings photo from Taunton shows that opinion couldn't be more wrong.

We've had plenty to enjoy in our seven matches so far, but who will be the movers and who will be the shakers on day three?

Division One leaders Notts and Hampshire both have batting to do after being made to follow on, while in Division Two, Durham are only 46 ahead with four wickets left against Derbyshire.

Welcome to today's coverage. Play starts at 11:00 BST.
