  1. 100 runs

for Ben Coxpublished at 49.2 overs

Worcestershire's wicketkeeper/batsman reaches his first limited-overs century with a magnificent straight six off Calum Haggett. It has taken him just 101 balls and he follows it with a reverse sweep for four.

  2. 6 runs

    Worcs 280-6published at 49th over

    Cox 96, Barnard 50

What a shot by Ed Barnard, who smashes Matt Henry away over long-off for six - only the second of this Worcestershire innings. The electronic scoreboard shows Ben Cox on 110 not out and everything then disappears as staff try to correct it.

Cox is deceived by a slower ball but chips it back over Henry's head for one before Barnard clears the rope for the second time in the over by carving over point.

Two off the final ball of the over takes Barnard to 50 off just 28 balls. What a talent the young all-rounder is.

  3. Worcs 262-6published at 48th over

    Cox 95, Barnard 33

Calum Haggett is one of the 'unsung heroes' of this Kent side and a couple of good overs to end his spell would be very welcome.

An appeal for leg-before is turned down by Neil Mallender and the batsmen scamper through for a leg bye before a slower ball beats Ben Cox to end the over.

  4. Worcs 257-6published at 47th over

    Cox 93, Barnard 30

Here comes Matt Henry for his final burst of the innings and a baseball-style swipe by Ed Barnard results in a one-bounce boundary to deep mid-wicket. After the total passes 250, Henry digs another one in short and Barnard swats it away over the off-side this time for another four.

Worcestershire have done really well after such a poor start to their innings and a decent finish to the innings could yet see them close to 300.

  5. Worcs 245-6published at 46th over

    Cox 91, Barnard 20

Superb timing by Ben Cox, who flicks Calum Haggett away for four, the 10th of his innings. Later in the over we see a brilliant reverse sweep by Ed Barnard, right off the stumps, which adds another boundary to the total.

  6. Worcs 233-6published at 45th over

    Cox 86, Barnard 14

Harry Podmore continues to go through his variations for Kent. It's a good over until Ben Cox top edges a pull shot from the final ball over Calum Haggett's head at long leg to reach a career-best score in List A cricket. Why had Haggett come in so far?

  7. Worcs 223-6published at 44th over

    Cox 78, Barnard 12

Good running by the Worcestershire batsmen after Ben Cox clubs the ball into the leg-side adds two the total. A dab past the keeper gives Ed Barnard one and he hustles for two later in the over after an extra cover drive. Joe Denly then gifts a wide to the home side, but his final legit delivery is a dot ball, prompting Katy Perry's Roar to be played out over the PA system. Not sure why.

  8. Worcs 215-6published at 43rd over

    Cox 74, Barnard 9

Harry Podmore concentrates on a line outside off stump, relying on his fielders to protect the boundary. But there's no-one down behind the keeper as a well-played ramp shot by Ed Barnard brings him four runs. Maybe he's been watching Jos Buttler.

  9. Worcs 205-6published at 42nd over

    Cox 70, Barnard 2

Another excellent over from Kent skipper Joe Denly. Four singles from it, and that's not enough for Worcestershire, but Ben Cox is still there. Denly has 1-40 from seven so far.

  10. Worcs 201-6published at 41st over

    Cox 68, Barnard 1

Worcestershire's total reaches 200 as Ed Barnard takes a single. But that's a really good over by Harry Podmore, costing only two runs following the wicket of Ross Whiteley.

    Whiteley b Podmore 4

Harry Podmore takes most of the pace off the ball, deceiving Ross Whiteley, who plays on. That is a major success for Kent - sending back the dangerous left-hander with only four to his name.

  12. Worcs 199-5published at 40th over

    Cox 67, Whiteley 4

This is good stuff from Joe Denly, who restricts Worcestershire to singles. There are 10 overs left and the home side need to step on it to reach 250 and beyond.

The name D’Oliveira is synonymous with Worcestershire’s history, so it is very apt it should be a member of that family - Brett D’Oliveira - who, along with fellow local boy Ben Cox, has helped play such a key role in offering the home fans some hope here at not-very-warm, windy Worcester.

Brett’s granddad, legendary former England rounder Basil, was three times on the losing side for Worcestershire in finals at Lord’s - against Warwickshire in 1966 and twice against Kent (1973 and 1976).

His dad, Damien, was in the Pears side the last time Worcestershire won a Lord’s final, against Warwickshire in 1994.

How much has Dolly Mark III done to stand a chance of representing his county there himself after a brilliant innings ended only by a brilliant catch?

What a catch that is from Matt Henry!

Lunging to his right, it's a full stretch dive and he has removed Brett D’Oliveira at the most crucial time.

What a brilliant innings from D’Oliveira, who walks off to a standing ovation.

He has got Worcester back in the game but Matt Henry can do no wrong this season.

  15. Worcs 195-5published at 39th over

    Cox 66, Whiteley 1

What does Ross Whiteley have in store for us? He opens his account with an easy single off the returning Harry Podmore, as Kent keep Matt Henry back to bowl at the death.

It's a decent over until Ben Cox spots a slower delivery to end it and smacks it over mid-off for four.

It's a fifth-wicket partnership record for Worcestershire in List A cricket, beating the 131 by John Parker and Jim Yardley against Leicestershire in 1975, but it comes to an end on 140 as Brett D'Oliveira departs to a stunning catch.

He doesn't make clean contact to a full toss by Joe Denly, and Matt Henry dives to take the catch one-handed in the deep.

Ross Whiteley is the new batsman as Ben Cox blocks the final ball of the over and remains on 61 not out, with Worcestershire 188-5.

Ben Cox hammers an overpitched delivery from Matt Henry over mid-off for four before pulling away a short one for a single. Brett D'Oliveira takes his eyes off another short one and is lucky to escape a bang on the lid as it flies through to the keeper.

  19. Watch: D'Oliveira takes advantage of missed opportunitiespublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    Worcestershire 172-4 (36 overs)

Brett D'Oliveira has survived a dropped catch and a missed stumping opportunity...

He's taken advantage of the opportunities and reached his half-century, and he's helping Worcestershire towards a competitive total.

Worcestershire certainly looking to get on with it now. They can't find the boundary, though, and Kent bowler/captain Joe Denly will take that at this stage.
