  1. Worcs 68-4published at 19th over

    D'Oliveira 9, Cox 14

Relief at last for Worcestershire as Ben Cox leg glances for four off Calum Haggett. That apart, it's another good over for Kent.

  2. Worcs 62-4published at 18th over

    D'Oliveira 8, Cox 10

Ben Cox times an off-drive superbly, but it brings him nowt as the mid-off fielder intercepts. Just a Brett D'Oliveira single from the over. Darren Stevens is as tight as a miser whose lack of spending has led to him being elected chairman of the Britain's Most Miserly club.

  3. Worcs 61-4published at 17th over

    Cox 10, D'Oliveira 6

Ben Cox takes a sharp single to mid-off and Brett D'Oliveira flicks away to square leg for one. If they can't find the boundary, the Worcestershire batsmen have to start picking up ones and twos from every ball, if possible.

  4. Worcs 57-4published at 16th over

    D'Oliveira 5, Cox 8

When boundaries aren't coming, it's almost as if the rope is moving further and further from the square. And having the keeper up to the stumps is adding to the pressure on the Worcestershire batsmen as Darren Stevens comes up for another over. Ben Cox crashes a wide one through the covers, but it only brings one as Kent remain eager in the field. And why wouldn't they be, with a Lord's final at stake.

    Worcestershire v Kent 54-4 (15 overs)

The temperature on the pavilion clock says it’s 17 degrees.

    You could have fooled me.

Most of the crowd here have an extra layer on - and those in shorts are starting to regret their decision!

More people seem to be returning from the bar with coffee than beer, and there’s not been much to warm the home fans on the pitch.

One suspect umpiring decision, one rash shot, Worcestershire’s two best batters gone and, once again, home hopes rest on two of their own local boys...

  6. Worcs 54-4published at 15th over

    D'Oliveira 5, Cox 5

Only one over for Imran Qayyum as the bearded Callum Haggett takes over. Mr Haggett was actually born in Somerset, but Kent are his only county. Ben Cox collects two runs but is then denied a boundary as Alex Blake makes a sprawling save at cover.

  7. 'First class team unity from Kent'published at 12:02 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    Worcestershire v Kent 50-4 (14 overs)

The team unity, the energy, the enthusiasm of Kent has been absolutely first class since they started to get on a run earlier in the competition.

I think Heino Kuhn and Matt Henry have a lot to say for that.

    Worcestershire v Kent 50-4 (14 overs)

It's been Kent's morning so far.

You can watch the first three Worcestershire wickets to fall below.

  9. Worcs 50-4published at 14th over

    D'Oliveira 4, Cox 2

Ben Cox times the ball well through the covers to pick up two from the first ball he faces, taking the Worcestershire total to 50. Nothing doing from the remaining four balls, though.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.1 overs

    Mitchell b Stevens 4

Daryl Mitchell gives himself room to leg, but Darren Stevens follows him with the ball and the Worcestershire batsman is bowled off his pads. Serious headaches now in the home dressing room as Ben Cox comes to the middle.

  11. Worcs 48-3published at 13th over

    Mitchell 4, D'Oliveira 4

A spinner on in the powerplay as Imran Qayyum takes over from Matt Henry. His face below his shades is smothered in protective cream, even thought there is not much evidence of sunshine. A good start by him. Just two added to the Worcestershire total.

  12. Worcs 46-3published at 12th over

    Mitchell 3, D'Oliveira 3

Another single for Daryl Mitchell before Darren Stevens strays onto Brett D'Oliveira's pads, allowing him to find a gap at mid-wicket and collect his first two runs. The final ball over the over is wide of off-stump and D'Oliveira cuts, but he is restricted to one by the boundary rider.

  13. Worcs 42-3published at 11th over

    Mitchell 2, D'Oliveira 0

Worcestershire opt to take the second powerplay immediately as Kent decide to keep Matt Henry on in search of another breakthrough. He doesn't manage that, but it's another fine over, costing only a solitary single for Daryl Mitchell.

  14. 'A big breakthrough for the Spitfires'published at 11:46 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    Worcestershire v Kent 41-3 (10 overs)

    Fabian Cowdrey
Ex-Kent all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Massive moment in this game, Darren Stevens in typical fashion takes the pace off the ball.

Joe Clarke couldn't help himself and put it straight down Matt Henry's throat at mid-on.

That is a big breakthrough for the Spitfires.

  15. Worcs 41-3published at 11:44 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    Mitchell 1, D'Oliveira 0

Darren Stevens was on the staff at Leicestershire before Dillon Pennington and Patrick Brown, who are in the Worcestershire side today, were born. He remains though a highly effective campaigner and two dot balls to Brett D'Oliveira end a successful opening over.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 9.4 overs

    Clarke c Henry b Stevens 23

Here's the first change and 42-year-old Darren Stevens relieves Harry Podmore. It's a good move as Joe Clarke fails to clear mid-on, where Matt Henry pulls in the catch to his right after initially appearing to misjudge it. A big blow for the Rapids.

  17. Worcs 41-2published at 11:38 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    Clarke 23, Mitchell 1

How many overs will Joe Denly give Matt Henry in this spell? The New Zealand paceman is up for his fifth and it's another accurate one, with Worcestershire having to settle for a single apiece for Daryl Mitchell and Joe Clarke. Henry has 1-14 so far.

  18. 'That was a big wicket'published at 11:37 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

The wicket of Callum Ferguson is a big blow for Worcestershire, make no mistake.

Kent will feel right on top now.

  19. Worcs 39-2published at 8th over

    Clarke 22, Mitchell 0

The first really wayward delivery of the game costs Harry Podmore a leg-side wide, and his next ball is whipped away off the back foot for four by Joe Clarke. A short delivery ends the over and Clarke lifts it over mid-wicket this time for another boundary.

  20. Worcs 30-2published at 7th over

    Clarke 14, Mitchell 0

Joe Clarke pushes the ball through mid-on and his timing is good enough to bring him three runs. Matt Henry offers width to Daryl Mitchell, but he can't beat point with his square cut. Just three from the over, and Kent will be the happier team thus far.
