  1. Worcs 166-4published at 35th over

    D'Oliveira 63, Cox 54

Without a wicket since the 14th over, Kent bring back Matt Henry and he is unlucky as a miscue from Brett D'Oliveira just eludes the fingertips of Joe Denly at mid-off. To add insult to injury, it runs away for four.

Another boundary follows as Ben Cox threads the ball between mid-wicket and mid-on. No great power in that, just supreme timing. He has to dig out a well-disguised yorker to end the over.

    Worcs 157-4published at 34th over

    D'Oliveira 58, Cox 50

Joe Denly continues and Ben Cox reaches a 62-ball fifty - three deliveries fewer than partner Brett D'Oliveira - with a dab to the leg-side. Five off the over, 16 to go.

    Worcestershire 152-4 (33 overs) v Kent

    Fabian Cowdrey
Ex-Kent all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Kent need to stay composed because Worcestershire have momentarily switched this game.

D'Oliveira and Cox have developed a good partnership and D'Oliveira getting his 50 in that fashion will only bode well for the future of his innings.

  4. Worcs 152-4published at 33rd over

    D'Oliveira 55, Cox 48

Another single for Brett D'Oliveira brings up the 100 partnership from 19.3 overs.

Worcestershire finish the over in style, Ben Cox slashing Calum Haggett just behind point for four.

Worcestershire have a big job on their hands if they are going to get anywhere near the 300 they must have been hoping to post when they won the toss and chose to bat? How do you see it going, Pears fans? Kent supporters - what kind of score would you be confident of your team chasing down?

  6. Worcs 144-4published at 32nd over

    D'Oliveira 53, Cox 42

Worcestershire are happy to knock Joe Denly around for singles after that missed stumping chance in his first over.

Three runs come from the first three deliveries of the over, before Brett D'Oliveira takes two off the final ball.

    Worcestershire 139-4 (31 overs) v Kent

    Jack Shantry
Worcestershire all-rounder on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Ben Cox has had a fantastic season, his best in one-day cricket.

If Worcestershire are to score a big total today, Cox will have to go on and get a big score himself.

  8. 50 runs

    Worcs 139-4published at 31st over

    D'Oliveira 50, Cox 40

Brett D'Oliveira reaches a 65-ball fifty in unusual fashion - with a five.

Calum Haggett takes some of the pace off his straight drive and they set off for one, but the throw to the keeper is wayward and runs away to the boundary.

A few Kent mistakes creeping in now. And Worcestershire have big-hitting Ross Whiteley still to come.

  9. Worcs 132-4published at 30th over

    D'Oliveira 45, Cox 39

Kent skipper Joe Denly brings himself into the attack but is let down by his keeper as Brett D'Oliveira is lured down the track, and Adam Rouse fails to gather cleanly and the leg-side stumping chance is gone. A misfield on the boundary by sub Will Gidman gives Ben Cox four runs to end the over.

  10. Worcs 125-4published at 29th over

    D'Oliveira 45, Cox 33

Brett D'Oliveira smashes a wide ball from Calum Haggett away over point for four. The Kent seamer overcompensates with the next one and it is glanced past the keeper for another boundary. D'Oliveira now just five short of a half-century - and Worcestershire have big-hitting Ross Whiteley still to come.

  11. Worcs 116-4published at 28th over

    D'Oliveira 37, Cox 32

The D'Oliveiras have done Worcestershire proud on many occasions down the years and if Brett can manage a big innings here, it will certainly boost their chances of posting a defendable total. He's fortunate, though, as an aerial clip into the leg-side is just wide of the diving fielder at mid-wicket. Just two from the over and Darren Stevens finishes with 2-33 from his 10 overs.

Stevens has played in two Lord's finals, one for Leicestershire and one for Kent. Will he make it to a third?

  12. Worcs 114-4published at 27th over

    D'Oliveira 36, Cox 32

Ben Cox mows across the line off Imran Qayyum but only takes two as Daniel Bell-Drummond cuts it off at backward square leg. The final ball drifts outside leg stump and this time Cox picks his spot perfectly with a fine sweep for four. Qayyum scratches his head in annoyance at himself.

  13. Worcs 107-4published at 26th over

    D'Oliveira 35, Cox 25

Looks like Darren Stevens may be going to bowl his 10 overs in one stint - this is his ninth. Nothing loose and Worcestershire have to settle for four singles.

  14. Worcs 103-4published at 25th over

    D'Oliveira 33, Cox 24

A single by Brett D'Oliveira brings up a half-century partnership with Ben Cox, who capitalises on a full toss by deflecting it fine for four. The Worcestershire total reaches three figures, but half of their overs are gone.

  15. Worcs 97-4published at 24th over

    D'Oliveira 32, Cox 19

That's more like. Brett D'Oliveira seizes upon a leg-stump delivery by Darren Stevens and puts it away for four. He then collects four more, but they are fortunate runs as he attempts a late cut and under-edges just past off stump, before ending a productive over with three.

  16. Worcs 86-4published at 23rd over

    D'Oliveira 21, Cox 19

Brett D'Oliveira muscles Imran Qayyum down to deep mid-wicket but a diving save by Sean Dickson inches in front of the rope prevents the boundary. There are a couple of singles to follow, but that's another decent over by the left-arm spinner.

  17. dropped catch

    Worcs 81-4published at 22nd over

    D'Oliveira 17, Cox 18

Invention from Ben Cox as he flips Darren Stevens down to fine leg for four. The next ball is almost his undoing, though, as he slogs across the line and the ball just misses the stumps as a bye is added to the total.

A let-off for Brett D'Oliveira from the final delivery of the over as he flashes into the covers where Alex Blake cannot hang onto the chance.

  18. Worcs 75-4published at 21st over

    D'Oliveira 16, Cox 14

Spinner Imran Qayyum is back and has a loud lbw appeal against Brett D'Oliveira, but the ball may have flicked off the glove before striking the pad. D'Oliveira then takes two before a deft glance to the vacant third man area brings him his first boundary.

  19. Worcs 69-4published at 20th over

    D'Oliveira 10, Cox 14

Darren Stevens begins his sixth over. His pace is in the low 70s, but that doesn't matter as he is offering nothing that is hittable. One off the over.

  20. 'Four big wickets for Kent'published at 12:20 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    Worcestershire v Kent 68-4 (19 overs)

    James Taylor
Ex-England batsman on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

Kent have been excellent with the ball up front, challenging the batsmen's technique and in one-day cricket it can be so dangerous for opponents when you're not taking wickets.

It is so important to stem the flow of runs and the run-rate by taking those wickets, especially those key men - Clarke, Rhodes, Ferguson and Mitchell - four big wickets.
