Balbirine st Foakes b Denly 29 (Ire 110-5)
And out it is!
That is excellent work from Ben Foakes and more than a bit dozy from Andy Balbirnie.
It was a big ol' leg side wide from Joe Denly and Balbirnie, down on one knee and trying to sweep, just let his back foot come up off the ground for a fraction of a second. Eagle eyed Foakes kept his eyes on his foot and then whipped off the bails as he saw it start to move into the air.
My word, this is going to be out.
Now then!
Has Balbirnie just lifted his back foot up for a fraction of a second?
Ben Foakes thinks he's stumped Andy Balbirnie off a wide.
Absolutely no-one else looks interested, but the umpire sends it upstairs.
Cheers, Jack. Happy start of the international summer, folks.
Joe Denly's going to carry on for a bit longer.
New man George Dockrell fends off three deliveries from Adil Rashid.
Here is Amy Lofthouse into our attack...

It appeared to be a nothing shot - wide of off stump, Gary Wilson reached for it and it's a regulation catch at first slip.
Wilson c Root b Rashid 8 (Ire 110-5)
The googly does for Gary Wilson!
Yet another Ireland batsman falls by pushing loosely at the ball way out in front of their body.
This time Adil Rashid sends down a wrong'un and it clips the outside edge of the bat, flying gently for Joe Root to snaffle at first slip.
Will Ireland see out their overs?
Run rate 4.73
Gary Wilson crouches down to paddle-sweep the last ball of Joe Denly's over round the corner for a couple.
Yep. Andrew Balbirnie's confidence was not misplaced. His bat flicked the pad as he played at the ball, but missed the ball itself.
Umpire Kumar Dharmasena, who missed William Porterfield's glove down leg earlier, is forced to overturn another decision.
Looks like Balbirnie has hit his pad, not the ball, hence the noise...

Balbirnie is convinced he hasn't hit this.
Andrew Balbirnie is given out, nicking Joe Denly behind!
The Ireland batsman reviews straight away though...
Ooooh. A fine, spitting delivery from Adil Rashid to finish the over, just beating the edge of Gary Wilson's bat.
Tidy stuff, just three from the over.
Balbirnie 25, Wilson 5
This is not high-octane cricket.
Joe Denly wheels through a decent over, conceding just three singles.
Time for a drink.
Run rate 5.00
Andrew Balbirnie pushes the last ball into the leg side for a single to give the scorecard a pleasingly round feel.
That's 100 up for Ireland off exactly 20 overs.
Maybe England did it best when they spun nothing at all?
The spinners are taking some damage at Malahide as Andrew Balbirnie whacks Adil Rashid through mid-wicket for four.
The next spins past bat, keeper and slip and away for four byes.

That's a welcome six for Ireland.
Joe Denly serves up a pie and Andrew Balbirnie marmalises deep over mid-wicket for six.
