The England players all look a bit injury shy. Jonny Bairstow tip-toed round to field that ball.
Smith hit 116 for Australia in his side's 297-9
England bowled out for 285 - Vince top scores with 64
Smith & Warner were playing against England for first time since ball-tampering bans
Warner hit 43 before holing out in the deep
Both Smith & Warner booed when they walked out to bat & at milestones

The last boundary was in the 10th over. Since then it has been singles, three twos and a three.
Warner 39, S Marsh 18
Would you make any changes? I'd have Eoin Morgan in there definitely. Probably Adil Rashid too.
If Pep is watching then he'll have just seen some nifty footwork on the boundary from Jonny Bairstow to save a couple of runs.

Simon Goodall: I wonder if Guardiola is there scouting, now England are playing in light blue? I reckon Liam Plunckett would make for a very good centre-back.
Our friends at Opta have crunched some numbers and have come up with a current World XI based on the stats.
They have taken into account runs and strike-rate for batsmen and economy rates and wickets for bowlers going back to the last World Cup.
There's only one Englishman in the team. What do you make of it?
Opta World XI: Rohit, Warner, Kohli, Hetmyer, Buttler, Nabi, Pandya, Rashid Khan, Cummins, Boult, Bumrah.

Collingwood is about five years my senior, he is in great nick though. And out of all the people I know he is the only one who would enjoy fielding more than having a bat or a bowl.
Warner 32, S Marsh 16
David Warner has made a solid start but there haven't been too many fireworks. There are no boundaries in Moeen's second over. Here's one from earlier by Warner...

There were quite a few boos when David Warner walked out and his name was announced. He was very bullish in his body language, swinging his bat around. I did hear cries from the crowd calling him a 'cheat'.
James Vince has the rubbish job of manning the deep cover boundary. He sprints round but can't prevent Warner collecting three more.
I wonder whether secretly he'd rather be playing for Hampshire today in the One-Day Cup final at Lord's. His side have had a difficult start.

India are now 39-4 against New Zealand with Virat Kohli back in the hutch...
Warner 29, S Marsh 13
Tom Curran's opening spell ends at an impressive 0-19 from five overs. Moeen Ali is into the attack early and makes a tidy start. Three singles from the over.
If this turns into a match between the coaching staff then it's advantage Australia.
I'm backing Justin Langer and Ricky Ponting to score a few more than Trevor Bayliss and Chris Silverwood.

Paul Collingwood is out there fielding for England. He’s wearing Mark Wood’s shirt.
Run-rate 5.00
I've realised why this game has a low-key feeling. There's no music when the ball goes for a boundary.
Hang on! Who is that on as a sub-fielder for England?
It's assistant coach and former all-rounder Paul Collingwood! He's like a sacrificial lamb. "Sorry Colly. We can't afford any more injuries. You'll have to go out."

Injuries are the last thing you want to see at this final stage before it all starts. The shiver of fear when Eoin Morgan hurt his finger yesterday was very, very palpable.
Warner 22, S Marsh 9
Warner is screaming to his batting partner every time the ball hits his bat. "WAIT ON" he bellows again before turning down a single.
He's then nearly cut in half by an excellent delivery from Curran that takes the inside edge before deflecting off Warner's hip and down to the third man boundary.

David Warner has looked in really good touch since he came back, picking up where he left off in the IPL.
There's Warner's first real attacking shot.
He lofts a drive in the air over mid-on off Tom Curran. The ball quickly skips for four with a couple of bounces.
Ben Stokes is bowling at 90mph here. Is the fact he's bowling to David Warner playing any part in that?
He causes the Aussie opener an issue or two with deliveries that just come back into him. Warner is still yet to really get away.
