Plenty of talking points from that session.
Joe Root out cheaply again.
Rahkeem Cornwall finding turn on day one.
How long can Shannon Gabriel go after already spending time off the field with an injury?
Here is Callum Matthews to discuss more and guide you through the second session.
Later.

This is a good start by West Indies. They have vindicated their decision to bowl first. They will be happy with 66-2 and will think they are one wicket from the likes of Pope, Buttler, Woakes etc who are short of form.
Burns 33, Stokes 7
And Rory Burns tucks it expertly off his hips for a single.
That's a fine, hard-fought innings by the England opener so far as he goes to lunch unbeaten on 33.
Ben Stokes is seven not out. Dom Sibley and Joe Root are back in the hutch.
An intriguing first session of the Test comes to an end.
Shannon Gabriel pushes it slightly fuller but still back of a length, forcing Rory Burns to play.
He plays it well though, staying on top of the bounce and guiding it down through backward point for two runs.
One ball left in the session...

The challenge with the short ball doesn't always come with the short ball. When the ball is pitched up, and your instinct is to drive, you're a little slower to get your feet moving and you end up nicking it.
Yep. A bumper second ball up and Rory Burns ducks it well.
Same again for the third ball.
And again.
Shannon Gabriel to Rory Burns, leg slip now in place - a sign of more short stuff to come?

Calz McGlynn: Root only averaging 37 since the start of 2019. That’s propped up with a big double in NZ. Needs to deliver more.
Another quick over from Rahkeem Cornwall so we'll get in one more before lunch.
Gorgeous. Ben Stokes skips down the pitch and drives sweetly through mid-on for four.
It's amazing how Roston Chase turns into Muttiah Muralitharan and Jonty Rhodes when he plays against England.
Rory Burns hooks unconvincingly and is actually fortunate not to get that much on it as the ball drops far short of fine leg.
Shannon Gabriel goes short again to Ben Stokes, who drops his hands under it.
Stokes shovels another short one off his ribs round the corner for one to end the over.

Nick Clarke: The best cricket accessory was the tiny arm guard Nasser Hussain wore when batting. For years we wondered the sense in having such a small, specific bit of protection before learning it was to help ease tennis elbow. Jack Russell's battered hat is up there too.

There's a Roses friendly between Lancashire and Yorkshire today (you can listen here)., external Has there ever been a Roses 'friendly'? Surely that's an oxymoron.
Ben Stokes sees off a maiden over from Rahkeem Cornwall.

That is only the 16th time a captain has been run out twice in the same series. The last captain to suffer that fate? Joe Root against India in 2018...

Harry Grant: Joe Root’s last three Test innings: 23, 22 & 17. Is it me, or does this look like Joe Denly in disguise?
Ben Stokes plays late and it drops just short of third slip off Shannon Gabriel.
Harder hands and he'd have been gone too.
Short from Cornwall and Burns cuts it away for four.
It took Ben Stokes 36 balls to reach 50 in the second innings of the second Test.
It's taken England 132 balls to do the same here.
