West Indies have won just four out of 84 away Tests against top-eight opposition since 2000.
Chris Woakes first over was neither here or there - see below - but his second over is much better and challenging.
Shai Hope is solid in defence though. He's on two off 32 balls - he's playing the Dom Sibley-type role for West Indies to try and get himself back in form.

There was a noise when it came through. But England haven't gone for a review.

Jos Buttler seemed pretty keen at first.
No, no, no Shai Hope. Put that shot away.
It's a good line from Jofra Archer but Hope doesn't need to playing as he has a tentative forward push.
There's a huge appeal from England next ball as they think they've got Hope caught down the leg side. Jos Buttler throws the ball straight up in celebration but Richard Kettleborough is unmoved.
Good decision, it flicked the thigh pad on the way through to Buttler.

We can confirm it was Stuart Broad's jumper (see entry between 7-8 overs). On being removed from the attack, Anderson handed it to Broad, and had to call for the sub to bring him another.
John Campbell has looked good so far but he shouldn't be there anymore.
That Ben Stokes drop has already cost England 18 runs.
Dismissive from John Campbell.
It's wishy washy stuff from Chris Woakes and Campbell just swots away the pull shot for his fourth boundary.
That'll be drinks. West Indies have weathered the initial storm quite well.
It will be a double change for England as Chris Woakes replaces Stuart Broad.
At the toss Joe Root said Woakes was England's all-rounder this week with Ben Stokes unable to bowl. Woakes failed with the bat so he's got to deliver with the ball.

I like Jofra Archer's pace in this over so far - he started at 84-85mph but then that bouncer was 89mph, even if it gave Jos Buttler no chance.
Joe Root said in the build-up to this Test that Jofra Archer was bowling at the "speed of light" in the nets and that he wasn't making life very uncomfortable for the England bowlers.
His pace is picking up throughout the over as he sends down an 89mph bouncer. It's erratic, though, and Jos Buttler can get nowhere near it and it goes away for five wides.
Decent start from Archer, though.
Ooh what's that hit? Jofra
Archer is excited for a moment as he squares Shai Hope up as the ball loops just short of the slip cordon. It definitely hits the back leg but there's a tiny nick too.
Jofra Archer, who was warming up with a medicine ball and Jack Leach in the last over, replaces Jimmy Anderson.

Is anyone else really annoyed by Stuart Broad having his trouser leg caught in his ankle support? He's tried to adjust it a couple of times, but still all we can see is the black around the top of his left boot.
That's a good delivery from Stuart Broad but an excellent leave from John Campbell.
Broad, bowling around the wicket, gets one to jag back into the left-hander but he leaves it well alone on length.
England heads roll back in disappointment.
Stuart Broad is about to get angry as John Campbell crunches a drive to the boundary.
When he gets it right Campbell looks an attractive batsman, but he doesn't get it right often enough at the moment.

After that drop, are we about to have Grumpy Jimmy AND Angry Stuart? What a pairing.

Ben Stokes' catching success rate is down to around 60% since the start of last year. In the two years before that it was 80%.
Here's that Ben Stokes drop of John Campbell from a few overs ago.
He really should be taking that...
