Surrey (47-0) trail Sussex (415) by 368 runs

    BurnsImage source, Rex Features

Rory Burns opening the batting for Surrey is a sight that's not been seen for a while.

He's made his way to 31 not out alongside opening partner Scott Borthwick so far for the hosts at The Oval as they begin their reply to Sussex's earlier 415 all out.

Burns will be hoping for some valuable time in the middle after what was a bit of a frustrating summer for England.
