The umpire is unmoved and Libby has to walk. A great passage of play from Somerset who take three wickets in as many overs.

    Lancs 219 v Derbyshire 41-4

    Huge appeal!

Matt Critchley misses a quicker one from Danny Lamb and is struck on the pads. But the umpire correctly gives it not out.

In the confusion Fynn Hudson-Prentice calls for a quick single. Lamb is wise to it and throws down the stumps in one quick swoop. Hudson-Prentice was safely in though.

    Nervy times for Derbyshire.

Frustration continues for Yorkshire as they have to sit and wait a bit longer to get back out on the park against Leicestershire.

Still no play today in Leeds due to the persistent rain and wet outfield.

They will be watching with interest how much Derbyshire are having to fight for the runs at Aigburth.

Yorkshire started the round five points behind Derbyshire in the North Group.

  15. Postpublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 7 September 2020

    Lancs 219 v Derbyshire 34-4

Derbyshire are digging in after a flurry of wickets just before the rain delay.

Matthew Critchley and Fynn Hudson-Prentice have added another 17 with the side now on 34-4.

Critchley also becomes the first Derbyshire player to reach double figures. Rebuilding.

Hampshire take a handy lead of 21 runs into the second innings.

Just nine overs is how long Essex skipper Tom Westley has waited before introducing Simon Harmer into the bowling attack.

Max Holden (19 not out) and Sam Robson (6 not out) have made a competent start so far for Middlesex as they chip away at their 98-run deficit.
