Sometimes umpires take players off because of the hour that they can add on.
They think 'well let's just pop off because we can add it back on'.
It does look brighter beyond.
Frustratingly, the players are now heading off the field again.
India openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are protecting their bats as a bit of light drizzle falls.
The brollies are going up around the ground. Hopefully this will only be a short delay.

Haseeb Hameed is a top-order player. Whether you open, bat three or bat five you have to be able to play swing, seam and spin.
I don't see an issue with him dropping down to three. It won't be the first time England have played three openers and I think against a top-class Indian bowling attack it is completely understandable.
I remember the feverish excitement when Haseeb Hameed broke through in 2016. He lost his way for a while but I don't think there is a cricket fan around who begrudges him another stab at Test cricket.
Anyway, the pomp and ceremony of the anthems are over. England's players are in a huddle on the outfield as Joe Root gives a few words of encouragement.
India's openers are striding out to the middle with purpose.
England captain Joe Root on TMS: "There are some nice overhead conditions and we feel, particularly at this ground, they can play a massive factor in things so hopefully we can get ahead of the game early and put some pressure on that way.
"James Anderson is fit to play, and there are no issues there. I'm looking forward to him doing his stuff.
"I'm very excited for Haseeb Hameed. He has impressed since he has come back into the fold, and he is a fine young man. I've been really impressed with him as a person, and as a player. He has been on a bit of a journey, but his way back has been very impressive."

As a Notts fan it's great to see Haseeb Hameed get a start. Hoping he can prove his worth. Also hope we get a good game with no washout. It was sad to see such an exciting end to a game just fizzle out at Trent Bridge.

I'm so surprised at the hate Dom Sibley gets. Yes, he hasn't gotten a good score recently but he's there to dig in and absorb the new ball. Joe Root doesn't get those scores without that.

So after all that, James Anderson pulls through.
However, at the time of the toss - only 15 minutes before what should have been the start - there are a lot of empty seats inside Lord's. The reason? There are a lot of spectators queueing outside, not just members, in all directions around the ground. People are spilling on to the roads, pushing and shoving, dicing with traffic. It's chaos.

Earlier in the week Jonny Bairstow said that the changes wouldn't cause too much disruption but I slightly take issue with that. Too many changes in Test cricket can be disconcerting.
Andrew Strauss described England's selection policy at Lord's as like the game 'Whack A Mole' as they try to fill gaps which appear, rather than taking on a strategic approach.
What do you think of Moeen Ali's return? Haseeb Hameed's comeback? Should Dom Sibley have got another go or been axed?

Dom Sibley is playing and it is a massive week for him - he needs a big score.
You look at the way he played in Nottingham - he got 18 in the first session, which I didn't mind because the ball was moving around. You want your openers to be attritional when the ball is moving around.
In the second innings his flaws were identified. He has played 21 Test matches, and I always look if they are improving, and he got 28 off 133 deliveries when the pitch was playing at its finest. Joe Root had to do all the work. You can't always rely on him - England have depended on him this year.
India captain Virat Kohli: "We would have bowled first but it's not a bad day to be batting first. It's an opportunity to put a decent total on the board.
"Everyone else wants to contribute. It's about getting into the game as soon as possible as batsmen. We just need to get the job done."
On the omission of off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin again: "Having seen the pitch and the balance of our bowling unit, this makes the most sense for us as a team."
On playing at Lord's: "It's amazing, especially with crowds back in. It's a beautuful ground. It's a privilege and an honour to be here."
England captain Joe Root: "There is a tinge of green to the wicket but it is more the overhead conditions. It gives us a great opportunity to take wickets this morning and put pressure on that way.
"I do think the pitch will turn at some stage, but I do think Moeen gives us great balance. He is playing some wonderful cricket, he is full of confidence and is a very experienced campaigner and he offers runs and wickets. I'm very much looking forward to seeing him playing again.
"I just want Haseeb [Hameed] and the rest of the boys to go out and enjoy themselves this week. It is a great opportunity to play at Lord's."
Three changes for England with Moeen Ali, Haseeb Hameed and Mark Wood the players to come into England's XI for Dan Lawrence, Zak Crawley and Stuart Broad.
Fast bowler James Anderson is passed fit to play.
Joe Root flicks the coin in the air and Virat Kohli calls heads. It lands on tails.
England have won the toss and elected to bowl first.
The right decision? There's a few green tinges in the pitch and overcast conditions at Lord's.

Mickey Wallis: OK, this summer can now properly do one. As an opening batsman, I’ve only played on one decent wicket this year, because it rains literally every Friday and softens the thing up. Now delaying the start to the Lords’ Test is adding insult to injury.

BBC Weather's SImon King: "The drizzle will clear away, and it will stay dry once that clears. It will stay quite cloudy today. It will be humid, with temperatures around 19 or 20C."
