Ben Foakes confidently appeals for an stumping of Rohit. We're going upstairs...

Rohit is a measured, calm individual. Nothing really fazes him and he's one of the guys that other players want to hang around with.
Does Rohit fancy really inflicting some pain in this final period? He charges Leach and lifts him over the leg side for four. It wasn't middled.
There are 20 overs or, more likely, an hour and 15 minutes to go today.

I think 'bowling a pie' is my favourite Cricketing term. Anyone got anything to rival it?

But Bess' figures flattered him across those three Tests. He bowled very well in the first innings of the first Test but was poor in the second. He bowled 12 full tosses in eight overs.
There was method behind England's change. It's not often I spend a day defending their decision-making. It's drinks, by the way.

An interesting debate.
Ben Foakes has produced a couple of bits of his trademark brilliance behind the stumps today. The latest is a dive to stop the ball down the leg side.
England yell "catch" at the end of the over but the ball has hit short leg Ollie Pope in the chin before he can react. Not a chance.

Totally disagree, Jason (10:02). What about player welfare? This year is like no other for England and there are more than 11 good players to pick from. They'll win more games looking after the whole team than running the 11 "best" into the ground physically and mentally.

Rohit 151, Rahane 59
Jack Leach looks a different bowler than the one who was bashed around by Rishabh Pant early on in the first set. His comeback over is one of the better we have seen recently, the final ball almost sneaking through as Rahane goes back.
These two have batted very, very well.

Jack Leach replaces Stuart Broad. England still need a wicket.

It has been a sensational innings for Rohit. There have moments of good fortune but we must not dwell on those. It's been largely an innings of dominant, imperious majesty.
India have rested their best fast bowler who has an average only Marshall, Garner and Ambrose can better.

England are getting what they deserve here. Their approach to Test cricket is disrespectful to the game and the opposition. You might rest your best players when you have won a series, not in the hope of possibly winning it at a later date. Nonsensical.

Rohit's hundred looked on once he got to 30 and he's hardly been troubled since.
150 from 208 balls. Impressive.
The dressing room stands and applauds.
A cheer is going around the ground just in anticipation with Rohit on 149.

Drax: We are not doomed. I expect this one to be a draw.
Kate: Isn’t it a little early to be massively piling into the team selection?
Rohit 149, Rahane 58
It's a difficult, spinning pitch but not unplayable. Not yet at least. India have batted well, England haven't been at their best. I wouldn't want to be chasing many in the fourth innings but there's still time for things to change. Now these two are in they're making batting look easy. Rohit ticks on to 149.
