Either the increased cloud cover or the changing of the ball, or maybe a combination of the two, but batting has certainly looked more tricky this afternoon.
Tom Abell has hit a lovely rhythm, just getting the ball to move away enough to cause the batsman problems. He's going at eight an over but has produced two belting deliveries to dismiss Luke Wells and Rob Jones.
Yorkshire 0-0 v Warwickshire 155
Adam Lyth and George Hill will open for Yorkshire.
Warwickshire struggled with the bat. How will the hosts fare?
Glamorgan opener Hamish Rutherford has just been bowled by Jared Warne for 62 at Sophia Gardens and the home side are 149-3 against Gloucestershire.
Essex remain in control at the Kia Oval, progressing to 132-1 with Alastair Cook 69 not out and Tom Westley on 41 - their stand is now worth 103.
Luke Procter is shoring up Northamptonshire's first innings against Durham - he is 63 not out in a total of 144-6.
In Division Three, Sussex have lost Tom Haines for 71, but Ben Brown is four runs short of 50 in their 186-2 against Leicestershire.
Kent are 155-3 against Derbyshire, with Jack Leaning 14 not out and Sam Billings on eight, following the loss of Daniel Bell-Drummond, caught at slip for 69.
Max Holden is unbeaten on 50 for Middlesex, but Luke Hollman has just been bowled by Ed Barnard and they are 125-7 against Worcestershire.

Jones c Hildreth b Abell 5 (Somerset v Lancashire 201-5)
What a difference the change of ball has made, with Rob Jones edging Tom Abell to first slip.
Much more like it for Somerset as Steven Croft joins Dane Vilas (nine) at the crease.
Hampshire 101-4 v Nottinghamshire
Things have quietened down a little bit at the Ageas Bowl since the dismissal of James Vince, but two runs to Nick Gubbins off Joey Evison takes the Hampshire total past 100.
Gubbins is now 33 not out and Liam Dawson is on five.
Burgess c Bess b Coad 66
It's one shot too many as Michael Burgess pulls Ben Coad to Dom Bess at deep midwicket.
He's made the score slightly more respectable for Warwickshire who are all out inside 43 overs.
Yorkshire v Warwickshire 155-9
Michael Burgess is rightly hogging the strike and going big for Warwickshire.
He smashes Ben Coad for a maximum to move on to 66 not out.
Bohannon c Leonard b Abell 50 (Somerset v Lancashire 195-4)
Fifty and out.
Frustrating for Josh Bohannon who hits two fours to get to his 50 from 117 balls, only to get out the very next delivery.
It's a second wicket for first-class debutant Ned Leonard who has Bohannon caught at fly-gully.

Following Emma Raducanu's US Open victory, we asked you to come up with names for a tennis-themed cricket team.
Here are one or two vintage suggestions.

From RabbitHutch23: Wimbledon Bradman
From Aretee20: Fred Perry Trueman
Yorkshire v Warwickshire 135-9
A 77-ball 50 for Michael Burgess who's done brilliantly while others have fallen around him.
He's proving to his teammates that there are runs on offer on this pitch. Yorkshire's batsmen won't mind this watching on.
Wells c Hildreth b Abell 103 (Somerset v Lancashire 182-3)
100 and out.
Great ball from Somerset skipper Tom Abell who has Luke Wells feathering one to first slip.
Frustrating for Wells, he departs to a fantastic reception from the home crowd.
Somerset v Lancashire 182-2
Carves away for four.
The very next ball Luke Wells brings up his first 100 of the summer, his 20th in first-class cricket.
A brilliant knock from 112 balls. Now can he push on a get a really big total on a flat pitch?
Somerset v Lancashire 178-2
Meanwhile, at Taunton, Luke Wells moves to 99 not out with his 19th four...
Miles c Duke b Coad 0 (Yorkshire v Warwickshire 133-9)
And another one gone.
Craig Miles departs without scoring, edging to keeper Harry Duke who dives well, low down to his right.
One to go now.
Surrey v Essex 117-1
Four runs off James Taylor saw Sir Alastair Cook reach a 119-ball fifty at the Kia Oval. The former England captain has just added another boundary off Reece Topley to advance to 55 not out and his stand with Tom Westley is now worth 88.
Somerset v Lancashire 169-2
Meanwhile, Luke Wells is up to 94 not out with his 18th four.
Bethell c Duke b Patterson 15 (Yorkshire v Warwickshire 133-8)
Warwickshire's latest resistance is broken as Yorkshire nab their first wicket after lunch.
It's dismissal number four for Steven Paterson, who has Bears youngster Jacob Bethell edging to keeper Harry Duke.
Michael Burgess looks on, very quiet on 48 not out.
Somerset v Lancashire 163-2
New balls please.
Somerset captain Tom Abell isn't happy with the old ball, after 40 overs it looks like it's gone soft.
The umpires agree.
Now, will this change things, a bit of swing perhaps?
Vince c Hameed b Hutton 30 (Hampshire 87-4 v Notts)
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
Brett Hutton finds the edge at the start of a new over, but that's four more slightly fortuitous runs to James Vince.
Notts put a third slip in and another edge by Vince brings him another boundary as the ball flies just wide of a diving Haseeb Hameed.
Vince attempts to drive the next one and this time Hameed grabs a sharp catch above his head to send the Hampshire skipper on his way.
It's that old Vince Achilles heel again.
