  1. Eng 4-0published at 3.3 overs

Another waspish delivery from Jayden Seales to Zak Crawley as he nips one away off the seam and just misses the shoulder of the England opener's bat.

Two balls later and Crawley, collar up, is squared up again by Seales.

    A testing period this.

Matt Fisher showed more ability in his opening spell in the last test than Chris Woakes has ever done abroad. how Woakes has managed three Tests this series is beyond me. So much for 'New' England.

    Alex in Wimbledon.

  3. Eng 4-0published at 2.3 overs

Zak Crawley, a tall man, is lurching down to poke a defensive shot to keep out a delivery from Kemar Roach which did not climb into him as expected.

There's a bit of variable bounce in this pitch. Two balls later and Crawley is off the mark with a neat flick into the leg side.

England have enjoyed docile conditions in the first two days, but this will be a different kettle of fish. Damp conditions, grass on the wicket, facing Roach and Holder...

The West Indies are choosing to bowl first to knock England over cheaply, build a big innings, and roll England over again, to avoid uneven bounce later in the game

  5. Eng 3-0published at 2.0 overs

Almost a sedate village feel to proceedings in Grenada compared to the raucous atmospheres in Antigua and Barbados, where England were backed by the Barmy Army in such big numbers.

Jayden Seales' fourth ball cuts Alex Lees in two with a rip-snorter of a delivery whjch slices between his body and bat.

That will make the bowlers, and batters, on the England balcony sit up and take note.

Dave Foot: I'm glad they're persevering with Overton. He hasn't quite clicked for England but he's been so good for Somerset for a number of years so there's no doubting his ability. I think he just needs to relax and stop trying so hard! Needs to take his chance soon though...

  7. Eng 1-0published at 1.0 overs

Five dots from Kemar Roach, who has three slips and a gully in place, to start before Alex Lees dabs one down into the off side and sets off for a single to keep the strike.

Alex Lees and Zak Crawley are out in the middle. Kemar Roach is doing some stretches and has the ball in his hand ready to bowl the first over.

Bit of moisture around this morning - definitely a very different pitch to the two we've already had so far this series.

It's a beautiful morning in Grenada. The Grenada government ordered the groundsman to leave a little grass on the pitch - and there is some there. It should be different to Antigua and Barbados. A fascinating first session in store - England will find batting more difficult than the first two Tests.

Now the pitch. Good news in terms of our hopes for a result by the sounds of things.

Saqib Mahmood on taking on the bowling mantle from Stuart Broad and James Anderson: "There's been a lot of talk about that. I was just trying to focus on the task ahead. I was in the side to replace Mark Wood who was injured. I did feel a bit of pressure with my skill set but in the end it went well and I felt I stepped up on my Test debut."

Saqib Mahmood is a bowler with a bit of high ceiling who can adapt overseas. Matt Fisher and Craig Overton are very much English style bowlers. The reason England didn't go with Stuart Broad and James Anderson is to open the door for the likes of Mahmood and I think he'll be around the Test side for some years to come.

England fast bowler Saqib Mahmood, speaking to BT Sport, before play said: "My debut went okay. It would have nice to take wickets but I was happy how I stuck at it. It took me a while to get that first wicket but I was happy with my disciplines throughout.

"That first wicket was a relief, I had a little glimpse at the umpire to make sure his arm wasn't out. After that I just wanted to kick on.

"We are starting from scratch again but hopefully there is a bit more in the wicket for us in this Test."

I thought in his first Test match Saqib Mahmood did really well, on a pitch that offered him nothing. He bowled quickly and I'd like to see him used a little bit earlier.

Of the two England players who made their debut in Barbados Saqid Mahmood gets the nod over Matt Fisher. Matt Parkinson misses out again as England opt for one spinner.

The right call? And how will England's batting fair in this Test?

England captain Joe Root: "We have done a lot of good stuff in this series and we are looking to get better all the time. Every Test match you want to personally contribute to win games for you team.

"This Test is an opportunity to take a step forward as side. It's a big game and one we are looking forward to. There's a few cracks in the pitch and hopefully they will open up later on in the game."

Root confirms one change to the England side as Craig Overton returns in favour of Matt Fisher. Ollie Robinson misses his third consecutive Test with an ongoing back problem.

West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite at the toss: "It is just the moisture around and there is a decent layer of grass so it is key to utilise it.

"It has been pleasing that different players have stood up so the key is to just keep improving. England have been bowling extremely well so it is good to see the fight from the batters.

"The key for me is proving a foundation to the team and that's all I'll be concentrating on."

Brathwaite flicks the coin into the air, looking skywards, and Joe Root calls heads. It comes down a tail.

West Indies have won the toss and decided to bowl first.
