Masabata Klaas gifts Beaumont a boundary as she clips off her hips to fine leg to bring up England's fifty.

A rare lapse in discipline from South Africa's bowlers.

Before we can show you the video, here's Alex's attempt at showing you how Nat Sciver somehow got out.

It is worth remembering that England are a batter down because they've moved Winfield-Hill out of the line-up and brought Dean in.

Batting looked so easy when Nat Sciver was out there.

I mean, it always does when she's batting, but it feels very different now. South Africa are buzzing.

Amy Jones has had a tough tournament so far with the bat. Now would be a very, very good time to find form.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen on a cricket field.

  8. Eng 43-3published at 12 overs

Nat Sciver couldn't re-enact that dismissal no matter how hard she tried.

Amy Jones is the new batter and has not been in the best form with the bat. Pressure on Tammy Beaumont now, too.

I have absolutely no idea how on earth Nat Sciver has just done that! The ball is short, she's gone to hook it leg side and in her follow-through she has hit it to first slip off the back of the bat.

Oh, Nat. I'm so, so sorry.

A very strange dismissal. In her first over, Masabata Klaas gives Sciver a short ball to dispatch into the stands. But somehow, Sciver goes for the shot too early and manages to hit it to slip off the back of her bat.

Hard to describe - you'll have to wait for the video on that one.

A much better over for Khaka than her first, this one conceding just two singles.

It's early and probably a very obvious statement but I think Nat Sciver's wicket is going to be the key one today. She looks in the mood.

After a lengthy process, Tammy Beaumont can let out a big sigh of relief.

That was much closer than I think everyone initially assumed it would be.

Has Tammy Beaumont been run out at the non-striker's end? She doesn't seem too worried, the review seems like a formality more than anything.

Fair to say this view is a bit nicer than outside my window at the moment.

I mean, I can't see anything because it's nearly 2am. But you know what I mean.

End of the powerplay and it belongs to South Africa with those two big wickets, but they've got to make sure they don't take their foot off the gas if they want to restrict England - the pitch is a belter, and Kapp and Ismail can't bowl all day.
