And within 15 balls we see how ridiculous it was to ever leave Jimmy out. Welcome back legend.
Martin, Newcastle
Leach is actually smiling on his way off. Hopefully that isn't as bad as it first appeared.
Harry Brook is on as a sub fielder and we're going to get back under way.
Leach is sitting up at least now. It seems to be an issue with his shoulder. He's going to head back to the dressing room.

He's hurt himself there. He could be in trouble, Jack Leach.
He's jammed his shoulder into the turf and went head-over-heels.
Oh dear. Is this the moment we come bumping back down to earth? Jack Leach has done himself some damage diving after the ball on the boundary. It was a very awkward landing.
Leach is now on his back with three physios around him.

James Anderson is 2-0 from his first three overs. It is only the second time in his last 18 opening spells that he has taken a wicket.

It's not that impressive, Bairstow should have caught it first time...
Williamson 0, Conway 0
Bairstow celebrated that catch on the floor with his arms out like Gazza. This is fun!

Tumberlina: It's like England opened the batting.
Peter Stones: Is...is this...Red Ball Reset?
Devon Conway is in. He scored a double hundred against England on this ground last year.
Stokes almost has an umbrella field with six slips.
It's a long time since I have seen England's players smiling like this.

Jonny Bairstow is on fire in the slips this morning!
Latham c Bairstow b Anderson 1 (NZ 2-2)
Jimmy Anderson and Jonny Bairstow have done it again! It's all going England's way.
Tom Latham, New Zealand's big opener, plays a nasty back-foot drive outside off. He slices an edge which flies to Bairstow at slip and the Yorkshireman slips the first attempt. Fortunately for him the ball loops off his chest, allowing him to dive one-handed and take the catch.
England are certainly feeling good. There are arms going up into the air even when ball hits bat. Stokes has five slips in place. It's all out attack.

Ben Stokes has those eyes focussed from his fielding position with a glint in his eye. Joe Root is chirping away, applauding at first slip.
It's the perfect start for England.
That catch gets better with every viewing.

Enjoying Summer Sport Vibes: I think you better leave right now. Will Young! Go on Anderson what a start!
Kane Williamson strides out to the middle in the third over with the ball swinging. England will like this...
