As a Moroccan, I can understand why couscous is not popular here (I have heard it compared to packaging material)- it has little to do with the authentic version which is cooked along with a tomato-based sauce featuring an assortment of cooked vegetables and meat. Don't bash it till you've tried the real thing!

Van der Dussen hasn't looked the most convincing out there and another awkward defensive shot sees him walking across his stumps and prodding his bat down awkwardly.
That'll be a maiden.

That was a good, pouncing stop by Potts. Like a leopard on a mouse.
Sarel Erwee goes for another ugly sweep shot, this time almost glancing the ball into his stumps off his arm, before another attempt is well stopped by a leaping Matthew Potts at square leg.
Jack Leach is going to carry on bowling - here's how he dismissed Aiden Markram shortly after tea.
Van der Dussen 11, Erwee 68
Harry Brook is on as a sub for James Anderson, who has presumably popped off for a comfort break.
Lively from Stokes, getting a short delivery to rise up at Van der Dussen and trouble his gloves, but the rest of the over passes by without incident.

That's a horrible shot.
Oh!
Rassie van der Dussen plays a horrible shot first up and somehow manages to get an inside edge past his stumps and away for four. Gosh, that should have pegged off stump right back.
Stokes looks relatively phlegmatic about the whole situation.
You're a fancy bunch.
Anyway, here's Ben Stokes.

Couscous, like all side dishes such as rice, pasta, noodles etc it's what you had to them, I suggest a few chilli flakes, a drizzle of olive oil, a grind of black pepper and a grating of lemon zest, enjoy.

Sarel Erwee has a rather ungainly hoick at a reverse sweep and manages to top edge it just over Joe Root's head at slip and away for a couple of runs.

I like this wicket as there is life and spice in it, offering something for everyone.

I reckon if England knew there was that much spin there they would have brought Jack Leach on much, much earlier.
SA 168-3
Sarel Erwee, who has played very well, lets a series of James Anderson go pinging past his off stump before clothing a strike across his pad well short of the close fielders.
Down the leg side goes Anderson - oh, and there's no fielder there! Sub fielder Harry Brook hauls it in before it reaches the rope but that's three runs, and it's given South Africa the lead.
We're now having the debate as to whether couscous is pasta or rice. It's pasta, isn't it? Albeit pasta in a fancy semolina jacket.
I'm starving.

BarefootBackpacker: Re couscous. I hiked 57 days across Great Britain (East to West) in 2019, mostly living off couscous. The advantage is it's easy to carry & takes little preparation. I also have no desire to eat couscous again. It tastes...exactly as beige as it looks.

Because this South Africa side don't play, and I hate the term, 'Bazball', they are more likely to let Leach bowl than other sides who may go after him and keep whacking it.
So there may be scope for Stokes to let Leach go, who has confidence and his finding turn. He then has options at the other end and can rotate the seamers when he wants.
Jack Leach opens up with a no ball to Van der Dussen, which always irritates me when it comes from a spinner.
Van der Dussen rather wisely prods and pats his way through the first few balls before latching onto a short ball and cracking it away for four.
That brings the scores level.
Rassie van der Dussen, who I am a big fan of, is the new batter for South Africa.
