Well we have had an excellent day of Championship cricket, with a very even contest between bat and ball.
Centuries for guys like Daniel Bell-Drummond, Nick Gubbins and Jamie Smith and five wickets for Hassan Ali, although Nottinghamshire's Dane Paterson was the stand-out performer with a career-best 8-52.

Back-to-back boundaries for Tom Moores brings up a first batting bonus point for Notts.
They've been hard to come by today! Three overs to go at Trent Bridge, with Stuart Broad also in the middle.
Just the couple of games remaining in Division Two now where Notts are 188-7, leading Worcestershire by just 29. Certainly a day for the bowlers at Trent Bridge!
Middlesex are dominating Leicestershire. They're 136-1 at Lord's in reply to the Foxes' 149 all out.
Hampshire 246 v Lancashire 37-1
Danny Lamb has done his job as he guides Lancashire to the close with no further losses.
Another good day at the start of this season for Lancs.
Somerset 351-4 v Warwickshire
A day for Somerset's batters at Taunton.
A century from Matt Renshaw, half-centuries from Tom Lammonby and Tom Abell and an unbeaten 47 from Tom Banton has put the hosts in control.
A tough day for Warwickshire in the field.
Gloucestershire v Surrey 294-4
Jamie Smith and Sam Curran bring up a century partnership as Surrey end the day all set for a big first-innings score.
Smith finishes on 111 not out and Curran on 57 with their stand an unbeaten 106.
Into the final few overs at most grounds now.
Wells c Brown b Barker 18 (Hampshire 246 v Lancashire 36-1)
Keith Barker returns to the Hampshire attack and he strikes with his first ball as he gets Luke Wells to feather an edge through to Ben Brown.
Hants really needed that. The Red Rose send in Danny Lamb as a night-watchman for the last few overs.
Yorkshire v Kent 270-6
In fact, that will be stumps at Headingley.
Daniel Bell-Drummond's fine century and fifties from Jordan Cox and Ollie Robinson helped Kent recover from 20-3, but Yorkshire kept chipping away to keep the game in the balance.

A good day of attritional County Cricket with neither side giving an inch.
Northamptonshire recovered from losing their captain Ricardo Vasconcelos to the third ball of the day to reach 100-1 but Essex chipped away from that point onwards.
Mark Steketee bowled superbly throughout the day, passing the outside edge on numerous occasions but his one reward didn’t arrive until the 95th over.
Luke Procter (60*) holds the key for Northamptonshire and whether they can get up to and beyond 300.

A terrific hook shot from Sam Curran earns him a ninth four to bring up his 50.
This is a real signal of intent from Curran, coming off 62 balls, as he has batted well and scored at a good lick.

What a glorious way to bring up a hundred for Jamie Smith.
A lovely on-drive off Ryan Higgins takes the 21-year-old to a fifth first-class ton.
With 15 fours off 223 balls, he has moved Surrey from 37-3 into the commanding position they are now.

Essex have kept chipping away and have probably shaded a very hard-fought opening day.

A big wicket late in the day for the Bears.
James Hildreth middles a cut shot but it's straight to Craig Miles at point to give Oliver Hannon-Dalby a third wicket.
