  1. 100 runs

Century for Rob Keoghpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Northants 327-5 v Warwickshire

Rob Keogh duly completes the 13th first-class century of his career as Northamptonshire maintain their impressive scoring rate of almost five runs an over.

Keogh sure has a good completion rate in terms of turning fifties into centuries - almost 50 per cent.

He has got to 50 in 28 first-class matches - eight less than his team-mate Josh Cobb, by way of an example comparison.

But, in terms of hundreds, Cobb has nine less than Keogh.

Lewis McManus is on 12 as Northants home in on a fourth batting point, with designs surely on a fifth too.

  2. wicket

    WICKET - Amla c Cox b Bell-Drummond 124published at 16:33 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Surrey 283-3 v Kent

As soon as we write that, of course, the partnership ends.

Couldn't actually see what happened due to the aforementioned cycling - maybe Amla pushed too hard on the pedal. Sorry.

Apparently, he's been caught at mid-on off the part-time bowling of Daniel Bell-Drummond, who has been the most impressive and economical of the toiling Kent bowlers.

He departs for 124 off 169 balls, including 15 fours.

  3. 200 runs

200 stand for Amla and Geddespublished at 16:32 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Surrey 283-2 v Kent

Surrey's live stream has rather hilariously switched to coverage of a cycling road race.

Not sure what's going on there.

No punctures or pelotons for Surrey batters Hashim Amla and Ben Geddes, though - their partnership has passed 200 at The Oval.

  4. wicket

WICKET Hammond c Croft b Bailey 37published at 16:30 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Gloucestershire 158-3 v Lancashire

Lancashire paceman Tom Bailey claims a second wicket as, the very ball after a cover drive for four, Miles Hammond inexplicably carves him straight to Steven Croft at point.

It allows England's James Bracey to finally enter the fray, batting at number five.

  5. wicket

Pears stand ends at New Roadpublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Worcestershire 183-6 v Glamorgan

Gareth Roderick goes just four short of a half-century as his 120-run stand with Ed Barnard comes to an end.

He is clean bowled by James Harris, who becomes the second Glamorgan man to claim a second scalp.

Joe Leach comes on to join Ed Barnard, who is on 76.

  6. ouch!

Postpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Essex 210-8 v Hampshire

It's not actually an 'ouch' - but it very nearly was.

Shane Snater has shown precious little regard for the Hampshire attack in bludgeoning 64 off 61 balls to help Essex attain a batting point that seemed incredibly improbable at 56-5 this morning.

But he's not showing much regard for the welfare of his team-mates either - check out the clip below!

Don't think Aaron Beard will walk that far down the crease next time he's at the non-striker's end....

  7. 100 runs

100 for Wayne Madsenpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Derbyshire 235-5 v Sussex

Wayne Madsen is flying for Derbyshire - he reached his century off 162 balls and is now up to 112 not out off 175.

He's helped Derbyshire wrestle control of their Division two clash at Hove.

  8. Tea at Wantage Roadpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Northants 308-5 v Warwickshire

Rob Keogh goes to tea at Northampton on 94.

A nice cup of Earl Grey and maybe a cream horn should keep him calm.

    Lewis McManus is on 4.

A day of mostly unrewarded toil so far for the Bears bowlers.

  9. Teatime scoreboardpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

  10. Restart time set at New Roadpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

Hoping for a 16:15 BST restart at New Road, where the players have enjoyed an early tea - and a slightly elongated one at that due to a rain delay.

Time for twice as many sandwiches as normal.

  11. Snater gives Essex hopepublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Essex 194-8 v Hampshire

    Nick Gledhill
    BBC Essex

Shane Snater knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end, having been part of the Netherlands attack against England, but things went his way this afternoon as he registered his third 50 of the season to help Essex wrestle back some of the initiative from Hampshire.

Snater will resume unbeaten on 52 from 48 balls, the highlight being a magnificent six over long on off Liam Dawson. His positive approach helped Essex prosper against the older ball and has given the home attack something to defend when their turn comes to bowl.

  12. Tea at Bristolpublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Gloucestershire 147-2 v Lancashire

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

A full second session in Bristol brought an excellent half century for Chris Dent - his third of the season and his second against Lancashire.

The home side's decision to bat first this morning felt like a brave call with the overhead conditions and a greenish looking pitch.

But it looks a belter to bat on and Gloucestershire are giving themselves a chance to get in front of the match with a big first innings score.

  13. Tea at The Ovalpublished at 15:57 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Surrey 267-2 v Kent

Surrey pair Hashim Amla and Ben Geddes head for a richly-deserved tea just three runs shy of a double-century partnership against Kent.

The visiting attack has had no answer to the mix of experience and youth - 39-year-old Amla racking up 115 from 152 balls and Geddes contributing 73 off 166.

It's already a match you can't see the Division One leaders losing.

  14. wicket

    WICKET - Cobb c Miles b Rhodes 88published at 15:56 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Northants 300-5 v Warwickshire

A fifth wicket for Warwickshire close to the tea interval at Wantage Road - and a second for Bears skipper Will Rhodes.

Disappointment for Josh Cobb as he departs 12 short of a century, but Rob Keogh is homing in on his, on 90.

On-loan Lewis McManus, who (it was announced this weekend) has extended his stay with Northants to the end of the season, is the new man at the crease.

  15. Tea at Chelmsfordpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Essex 194-8 v Hampshire

A mixed afternoon session for Essex - but it has to be classed as somewhat of a recovery having been 72-5 at lunch.

Hampshire spinner Liam Dawson took the key wicket of Essex captain Tom Westley but Shane Snater's bullish 52 from 48 balls has led the hosts to within touching distance of a batting point that looked unlikely at many stages.

  16. wicket

Hundred and out for Hameedpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Notts 238-4 v Middlesex

    Haseeb Hameed reaches three figures.

But no sooner than he has completed his 10th first-class century than he is out - a second victim for Middlesex leggie Luke Hollman.

  17. Barnard leads Pears fightbackpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Worcestershire 172-5 v Glamorgan

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Ed Barnard has led a strong Worcestershire fightback at New Road as he shared a century partnership to rescue them from 63-5 in a torrid opening session.

Barnard’s unbeaten 68 has included some powerful drives among his nine boundaries while experienced wicket-keeper Gareth Roderick, in his second Championship match of the season, has reached a solid 42 not out.

Glamorgan’s four man seam attack all claimed wickets in the morning, two to captain David Lloyd, while keeper Tom Cullen had three catches including one spectacular diving effort down the leg-side.

But a heavy shower at 15:30 BST halted the progress of the sixth-wicket pair as the players took an early tea.

  18. Tea at Hovepublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Derbyshire 219-5 v Sussex

A fine afternoon for Derbyshire in their Division Two match at Hove.

Wayne Madsen (98no) is on the brink of his century after helping Derbyshire recover from 83-4 to 219-5. Luis Reece added 52 in a partnership of 120 before falling late in the afternoon session.

  19. rain stops play

Rain stops playpublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Worcestershire 172-5 v Glamorgan

The players have taken an early tea break at New Road due to rain.

Good recovery from Worcestershire in the wicketless afternoon session, Ed Barnard (68no) and Gareth Roderick (42no) sharing an unbeaten 109 stand to lead the Pears to 172-5, having been 63-5 this morning.

  20. 50 runs

50 for Chris Dentpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 26 June 2022

    Gloucestershire 118-2 v Lancashire

Chris Dent reaches his 50 for Gloucestershire. 113 balls. 10 fours.
