Garrett b Abbott 0 (Hampshire v Warwicks 217)
That makes our comment in the 17:02 entry seem prescient, but in reality it was just a fluke on our part.
Two wickets in four balls bring Warwickshire's first innings to an end and Kyle Abbott flicks George Garrett's off stump to claim yet another five-for in his long, distinguished career.
His final figures are 5-45 from 18.5 overs.
McAndrew c Holland b Abbott 63 (Hampshire 217-9 v Warwicks)
A disappointing end for Nathan McAndrew as Kyle Abbott digs in a short one, he tries to pull but top edges down to fine leg.
McAndrew batted for 149 minutes, faced 109 balls and hit two sixes and six fours. His knock saved his side from total collapse, having been 104-7.
Kent v Northants 250-5
Jimmy Neesham and Josh Cobb trying to restore order here for Northants after that disastrous mini-collapse.
They raise the second batting point but need to get through the remaining 18 overs to ensure their side win the day.
Hampshire v Warwicks 212-8
Just as Surrey are struggling for a breakthrough at Scarborough, so are Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl.
Another over ticks by with just a single for Nathan McAndrew off Kyle Abbott.
He is now 59 not out from 102 balls, but if the home side knock over the last couple in short order, they'll be happy with their day's work in the field.
Yorkshire 264-6 v Surrey
Adam Lyth and Jonathan Tattersall have now been together for 37 overs and Surrey must be wondering where the next wicket is coming from.
Lyth ends the latest Dan Worrall with nothing more than a well-timed push which runs away to the cover boundary. He is now 114 not out and Tattersall has 55.
We told you this morning that Sussex opener Tom Haines had to retire hurt against Leicestershire after being struck on the hand.
The news - for Sussex followers - isn't good.

Ah, this takes us back.
Sometimes the old ways really are the best.
Leus du Plooy and Anuj Dal have picked up where they left off before tea at the Riverside - Derbyshire are 202-5 with du Plooy 82 not out and Dal on 63, and they have so far added 117.
Tim Murtagh has a couple of early wickets at Northwood, with Worcestershire 31-2 in the ninth over, replying to Middlesex's 188 all out.
Glamorgan are now 247-7 in the 70th over against Notts, with Michael Neser 35 not out.
At Hove, Tom Alsop has progressed to 115 not out and Sussex are 318-3 against Leicestershire - their target will be a full set of batting points.
Essex 58-1 v Gloucs 136
That was almost like it happened in slow motion.
Zafar Gohar tossed it up outside off stump and Alastair Cook eased it through the covers for four.
The former England captain is 31 not out and Tom Westley brings up the 50 partnership in the next over with two runs off Josh Shaw.
Hampshire v Warwicks 202-5
First batting point for Warwickshire as Oliver Hannon-Dalby dabs a ball from Kyle Abbott wide of third slip for four. It wasn't a nick - it was a deliberate shot and it brought OHD a reward.
Yorkshire 261-5 v Surrey
Straight after tea in Scarborough and Surrey are succeeding in stifling the scoring rate.
Back to back maidens by Dan Worrall and Ryan Patel begin the session, before Adam Lyth collects a single off the former to move to 109 not out.
Kent v Northants 222-5
Double Nelson now strikes and Kent are right back in the day!
And it's more part-time bowling that's done the trick.
And more ugly batting.
Jack Leaning tosses one right up on the stumps.
Rob Keogh goes way across to try and sweep and gets his angles wrong, swings over the top of the delivery and leg stump ends up on the floor.
A sorry sight for Keogh and more chuckling among the Kent fielders.
What on earth are Northants doing here?
They were in total control but have now lost 3-17.
Sussex 289-3 v Leics
Well batted, Tom Alsop, who forces Callum Parkinson away for a single to reach a 160-ball century. His innings has featured 11 fours and it is his second three-figure red-ball score for the club.
Essex 40-1 v Gloucs 136
Back out in the middle at Chelmsford and Alastair Cook settles back into his usual modus operandi with a couple, followed by a single off Tom Price. A maiden by Zafar Gohar follows.
Kent v Northants 214-4
Oh goodness Joe Denly does it again!
Luke Procter tries to turn an innocuous ball from off to leg but knows he's in the wrong spot.
Like a golfer getting his swung stuck, he tries to save it with his wrists but only drives low back up the wicket.
Really smart catch from Denly diving to his right.
Very lazy from Northants and now they have to build again with Rob Keogh and Jimmy Neesham.
Lancs v Somerset 208-4
If you don't know much about James Rew, you're not alone.
Just 18-years-old and playing only his second first-class match here.
That was for the County Select XI against India last summer so this is a Championship debut.
Here he bookends the 68th over with boundaries off Jack Morley and raises fifty in 84 balls with nine fours.
Lancs v Somerset 200-4
Batting points have not been easy to come by for Somerset this season.
Only Essex, with nine - only nine?! - have fewer in the whole country.
Hell, even hapless Gloucestershire and Leicestershire have earned more than Somerset's measly 12 so far.
So what a grand chance this is now to build that tally.
105-4 was a really tricky spot but Lewis Goldsworthy and James Rew have recovered the innings really well.
Division One

Hampshire v Warwickshire 198-8
Kent v Northamptonshire 206-3

Glamorgan 224-7 v Nottinghamshire

Tea finally arrives as Nathan McAndrew plays out a maiden from Liam Dawson. The Australian is 55 not out and Oliver Hannon-Dalby has 12, the pair coming together when Dawson bowled Danny Briggs for 22, offering no stroke.
Earlier in the day, opener Dom Sibley made 56, but Hampshire were well on top when the score was 104-7 before McAndrew led a fightback by the 2021 champions.
